I am pleased with this small anvil. I will be purchasing a few more, as I am teaching basic blacksmith classes to youth. I was concerned when the box arrived as it was pretty tore up. Alas packaging included two pieces of plywood in the critical areas saving the anvil. All is good. I do recommend this anvil for anyone wanting a good starter anvil or a small mobile anvil for demos.

I mainly use it to clean my Retainer in the morning but have also used it to clean carburetor parts. It does a great job. The controls are simple, it is a little noisy if you keep the lid on as it rattles a bit.
