Negative expected returns...
August 14, 2025

I've been trying out the stocks& ETFs, commodities, options, and Apex Live Trading room, but unfortunately, I've ended up losing a lot of money. The losses are much bigger than the gains. It seems like most of the trades are countertrend, and when you win, you make a small amount from a small investment. But when you lose, you double down, from 1% to 2% to 4% and even up to 20%. However, the track records website only shows the percentage win, not the actual sizing, which gives a much higher profit factor that's not really accurate. In reality, the expected returns should be weighted by the sizing, which would be negative. When you lose, you lose a lot, and when you win, you win a little. For the live trading room, I've found it unprofitable because many positions are only held for a few minutes or even seconds. By the time it's announced, the price has already gone up significantly. For options plays, it's been a total disaster. Most of the puts I've put on are on the strongest stocks of the strongest sectors, which have the strongest uptrend, like GE, MSFT, NVDA, HOOD, URA, CCJ, WMT, and so on. While the stock market is making new all-time highs every day, our puts are also melting away to zero or expiring worthless. For the commodities play, the short on URA and CCJ with a 20% allocation each has also been a disaster. At one point, I was so frustrated that I thought I should do the opposite and go very long the market to hedge it. I know many other members are losing, but Gareth still insists that it's a number game, meaning that the win will make up for the loss. But that's just not true. My account went down a lot while other people went up with the market making all-time highs. It feels really painful even as I'm writing about it now. Finally, the admin keeps deleting genuine negative reviews. So the reviews looks fabulously positive everywhere. I'm attaching screenshots of my statements and purchase records.

I am currently using smart money crypto and trader's edge crypto. Both absolutely amazing services and gained tons of knowledge. I have purchased the winning traders series which is amazing. I learned so much from Gareth Soloway. I love his passion for teaching others the knowledge that he has. Truly amazing people at Verified Investing.

Gareth Soloway is a Con and Complete Fraud
February 20, 2024

The reviews on Google, SiteJabber, X, and others don't lie!

So, picture this: I've been stuck in Gareth's rollercoaster ride for nearly three years now. Strap in, folks, it's a wild one. When the market gets a little wild itself, his strategies sort of work... kind of... decently. But most of the time, it's like trying to navigate through a calm sea with a leaky boat. Gareth, bless his heart, insists on shorting the strongest stocks like it's his full-time job. And let me tell you, he's committed! He'll cling onto those sinking ships like they're the last lifeboats on the Titanic. Remember 2023? He was short on $NVDA all year, riding that wave of losses like it was the new cool trend. Now, here we are, down about 50% on a 12% position. And it's not just $NVDA taking a nosedive, it's like he's got a vendetta against every stock that's ever shown a glimmer of hope: $MSFT, $AAPL, $SMH, $GE... you name it. My portfolio? Let's just say it's gone from "champagne dreams" to "tap water reality" real quick, losing about 20% of its sparkle. Gareth's mantra? "Hold on tight, it'll bounce back... eventually... probably." And boy, does he hate stop losses more than a cat hates water. Why cut your losses when you can keep the suspense alive, right? And don't even get me started on his sales pitch. He'll charm you into his education courses faster than you can say "market meltdown." Master trader? More like master manipulator. Sure, he's got the gift of gab, but when it comes to trading, he's about as average as a soggy sandwich at a gourmet deli. Save yourself the headache and the heartache, folks. There are better ways to learn about the markets, and Gareth's rollercoaster ride isn't one of them. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

This is the same as InTheMoneyStocks.com except without Nick. All of the latest reviews on TrustPilot & here are true, Gareth is a total scam artist. I've been a subscriber for 3 years, we did ok the first 2 but not great after you count the cost of the service & the losers we just held forever. He uses your subscription money to fund horrifyingly bad trades & leaves them open indefinitely, only closing small winners & posting them everywhere making people believe that the service is profitable. We are stuck in over 50% of our portfolios trying to short since the beginning of the tech bull run. He will never admit he's wrong & cut losses because he doesn't have to, month after month he gets paid by subscribers which replenishes his accounts to drag more unsuspecting people in. The end goal is selling them on an expensive training program when his partner Nick is 1000x better teacher & trader than him for way less money, its a shame that Nick is retiring but you can be sure that he's leaving earlier than planned because of what Gareth is doing. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
