I needed a one-time search, which was done satisfactorily, and used chat to cancel the subscription. Amy was very helpful and took care of everything within about one minute, including a subscription refund. I appreciated it. This is an example of how customer service should be everywhere!

Maybe I'm confused but I was charged a second time. I expected the charge to access my record, but then received a second one on top of that. Maybe I missed something when I read through the website. I did speak to an agent but again I don't remember reading about the second charge. She did close my account and was helpful.
I signed up to look up a record for a used car i bought from a small dealer. The situation i have with the dealer was very unpleasant ( got myself into a lemon deal). I used this site to look up history of the car. They said 1 dollars charge but the actual charge is 9.95. Make sure to unsubscribe one you done use it. All the wise they will charge you monthly.
I authorized a charge for $1.00 for 1 report. They also charged me $9.95 for the report package and $7.00 for the PDF. Thankfully the customer service rep was very prompt is issuing me a refund for the extra charges
Fast service and good report. However need to clarify the membership is not clear. It is advertised as a single service that tied you up to a subscription, that is not clear enough.

The sight was pretty bare bones which o liked it made navigating easy however this didn't effect its performance in fact quite the opposite it pulled info I hadn't seen on any of the fancier sights. Also. Canceling was straight forward and took less the a minute. Not your typical.endless search for baried setting or dreaded phone call. A social media search component would be a nice feature.

There is no transparancy in providing the fees information. Most of the informations are hidden and purposefully misleading the custormer for extracting more charges.
Your initial offer says $1 and subsecurent charges made for $7... Then noted charges for keeping the account.
I came on site because I couldn't find a spot to see the history of transactions. So went to CHAT and found Shirley! She was quite helpful in explaining the transactions but not where to locate... anyhow I had a concern of charges and she was able to resolve the issue. Excellent support person! Linda F.
