I make a point of following up with our local postal people when it is to arrive as they tend to hold on to things until it's convenient to them to deliver even though they are to be delivered in 24 hours. I tmight help if in large letters on the package it said

I had ordered two Kensington fly sheets which, unbeknownst to me when I ordered, where drop-shipped from Kensington. I decided not to keep them, and even though the Valley Vet return policy says drop-shipped items might not be returnable, Valley Vet took them back. I've ordered from Valley Vet quite a few times over the years, and have never been disappointed with their service.
Having said this, customers who purchase OTC veterinary products such as Seresto flea collars, Frontline, or Cheristin should know that, with the exception of Bayer, no manufacturer of veterinary products normally sold through veterinarians sells directly to Valley Vet or any other online source. They sell only to veterinarians. But there is nothing to stop unscrupulous veterinarians from buying large quantities and re-selling it to online shops. The term for this is "diversion." Some manufacturers like Elanco put tracking codes in the cartons and will cut off sales to veterinarians caught diverting product, but most don't bother. But they will not stand by diverted products. If you purchase a diverted product online in order to beat the price charged by your veterinarian, and you have any kind of a problem with the product, you're on your own. As for purchasing FDA-approved drugs requiring a prescription, Valley Vet is accredited by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, which you should look for when purchased prescription drugs online, but unless your veterinarian does not carry a particular drug, you still might be better off purchasing directly from your veterinarian, especially drugs like insulin that require refrigeration.
