The choli can be stitched with pads. I did not mention it in the notes, but the tailor should have asked before stitching. It looks better with padded choli.

I bought two outfits from Utsav for a friend's Indian wedding in early July. I placed the order well in advance (May 4) because I wasn't sure how long it would take for the items to arrive in Washington DC where I live. I also wanted to allow time for additional (local) tailoring if needed. On May 14, I got an email from customer service saying "your Order No. XYZ for item LBQ33 has been rejected by our Quality Control team due to specific quality issues.
To replace the item with another piece of the same product, may take an additional 5-7 days as we are committed to ensuring 100% quality assurance. Following shipment, please expect another 4-6 working days for the item to reach your doorstep." Having never ordered from Utsav, I was alarmed that I was being told an item wasn't up to quality. I was also frustrated in that I didn't know (within reason) when the idea would arrive—creating anxiety that I wouldn't have something I could wear. I wish customer service would have simply told me 1) there was a delay with my order and 2) they would expedite shipping to ensure it arrived by XYZ day. Knowing when they would get the item to me would've been helpful — if it wasn't fast enough, I could have cancelled my order and gone elsewhere.

My dress arrived a week or so after expected but the quality is amazing. FUlly stiched with sequins. The top is lined. However the top does need alterations despite using the size guide and measurements.
