Any time I Persuade a claim and give them evidence and pictures I get a later in the mail saying my claim is denied and after that I get the paperwork to write what happened after the time line they never not ones give me my money back and after I called social security and change my money to go to my bank my direct express card got hacked yesterday 5/31/23 at Pizza Hut in California and I live in Renton Washington how does that work they said if I don't fill out the paperwork in 10 days I don't get my money back even though they can see on there computer that it was stolen from me and I been using my card in Seattle Washington this whole time until yesterday how can I use my card when I am in Seattle to California Pizza Hut this is way I change and I am done with direct express forever I had direct express for so many years and I have never been hacked not one until I stop my payment from going to there card instead it will being going to my bank thank god I did that on time before someone got all my money
This company is trash they steal our money and will not give it back the employees ought to ashamed of themselves for working for a company like this I will be telling a certain man what is going on there his name is Jesus Christ he will not let y'all keep stealing our SSI checks they froze my account for 3 months and then when they finally unfrozen it they stole 3 of my checks karma will one day get every last person that works there if you work for a company like this that says a lot about you you are a thief too when you do things like this karma will get you seventy times

I am on SSDI my information on my direct express card was stolen and used to purchase items online 3 times with the same amount, I am having a very hard time getting my money back from direct express as I have no money for food,rent and medication I keep calling direct Express but they don't care,don't sign up with them as they are no good.
Especially with the banking issues we have going on. This would be a terrible company to have. I was unable to get a hold of them for a month and a half then when I did online transfer to my credit union so I could write a check for my rent, it processed then the very next day they went and took it back without contacting me still couldn't get a hold of them so I transferred my money in person for my local credit union in closest account out. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless they enjoy it, not being able to talk to anybody About their money and having their transfers taken back for no reason except maybe treason lol just kidding about that last part
Direct Express doesn't care about anyone that have to pay for medication, rent or food! They decided to change debt card and now the card is 4 days past the first of the month and I had to put off my bills, rent and medication! As soon as the card comes I'm getting rid of Direct Express and put it in a bank!

I have had card sense 2020 no issues but sense they changed their app alot of problems can only make certain purchases which sucks. I'm switching my card. I love direct express cause they charge no fees but if this is what happens because of security issues no one will get their money. There is such a thing as over doing security. I can't even get thru to them was on phone waiting 30 mins not cool ur suppose to b SSA approved how can u b so bad. I had a replacement card an then they send me another card an had me activate that one so I had 2 new cards in 1 month which screwed me cause now I can't pay bills or nothing it's hit an miss with paying ur gonna cost me to b shut off cause of ur security issues get it to gether man plz
My card was frozen for a week have to making purchases on Amazon. When I called they said I made too many purchases and it looked shady. I told them to please unfreeze it. They said they could not do anything that their hands with Tide. What kind of bank is that really? I would avoid getting this card. Even cash app would be so much better than this. I plan on switching ASAP
My son has been on SSI for 7 years and we never had a issue with Direct Express until recently. My son had to have a lung transplant and we had to go to St.Louis. We hadn't used but a few dollars off his card and one evening we went to get food and all his money was gone off the card. So we called, there were several back to back purchases from the card for Amazon 299.00,199.00 197.00 and 86.00. First of all I have a Cashapp for Amazon purchases but I rarely shop Amazon, never in history had my card ever had Amazon purchases on it and do you know they claim the investigated it and say we made the purchases, never saying where the packages went or anything. I believe the Direct Express people are the ones stealing money off peoples cards because my friend said the same thing happened with her daughter. I have since reported them to SS Administration to further investigate and I am removing my sons funds to my personal bank. They are some true scammers!

How the $#*! dare they how do they sleep at night knowing there causing millions of people losses of there ssi or ssa benefits!? $#*! direct express can suck my goats asses!, if anyone needs help make a chime account or PayPal for direct deposit it's completely free just go to your local ssi office if you can and get that changed asap! Make sure to have the routing numbers an account numbers it should have it on the app because that is how I did it. Save yourselves the heartache these people $#*!in suck $#*! direct express! Will be doing a money spell hoping to get back a reimbursement because $#*! this company! Direct express is by far has the worst possible customer service of ANY company on the planet! I don't see how the government can possibly use these $#*!s for the distribution of their funds! Did they put out an ad that says "if you are the dumbest $#*!ers on the planet with the worst customer service, please apply and distribute our funds to our old and disabled"? I firmly believe there is one $#*!ing person with one $#*!ing phone sitting in the corner of McDonald's answering the phone for direct express! $#*!ing TERRIBLE! Last month, the money I have been receiving from Social Security since 2020 did not appear in my account. I was told by a few representatives on the phone from Direct Express that Social Security never sent out the money. I went to the Social Security Office in Allentown,PA and was told that Direct Express received the money and placed it in a different account that Im not familiar with. I called Direct Express after I left the Social Security Office and was told that someone closed the account that I have been using without my permission and blamed Social Security for not sending the money to the right account. I went back to the Social Security Office and was told that Direct Express made the mistakes of allowing my account to be closed without giving me a notice and directing the money elsewhere. I don't know whether the money is still in the custody of Direct Express and someone is refusing to release it or whether someone hacked my account and closed it to get the benefits. This issue was resolved days later. My money went missing once again. Social Security sent out SSI Payments to individuals on March 31st and my payment did not appear in my Direct Express Account. I called Direct Express Customer Service multiple times and was told the money went to the wrong debit card. I was told the issue would be resolved within 3-5 hours and so far nothing changed. I had a supervisor from Direct Express cancel out the debit card that had the money on it and attempt to transfer the money to the debit card I have right now. He said it will return to the debit card I have within 24 hours and as of right now I still did not receive it. This is the second time in one month that Direct Express has mishandled my money.
I have trying to help my grandmother for 46 days trying to get a new card for social security! They hang up on you, they are rude, literally they WILL NOT HELP you…I can't believe this is how they treat older people! It's like they want to stress them out
Save yourself the time and headaches. Wouldn't recommend this card to anybody. Terrible consumer services and they will hang up on you without any issues.
They are the worst to report fraud claim to, I get death benefits that was stolen off my direct express card they kept asking me the same dumb question who like I live in California where the person to my money
Answer: Absolutely not! The system is automated if you can meet your need via that system you will be good to go. If you need to speak to a human it could takes hours and days. I've been calling for 4 days. Every hour 2 - 20 calls an hour. I receive the message they have a high call volume, they tell me to try again later and then they disconnect they call. Their practices are abusive.
