Usually i love urban outfitters, they have a variety of clothes and other items that i'm often drawn to. But this is the first and last time i have ordered from them online. My mom ordered me a few items online for christmas. There was a bed set, which won't make it here until march and a hoodie. The hoodie was a champion one, which i've been wanting for a while now. I typically wear a small and sometimes a medium, depending on the item. I decided to size up with this, so it would be a bit oversized, and picked medium when putting it on my wish list. They sent an extra large. It would be one thing if they sent a small or a large, but an extra large is two sizes up from what i ordered and way too big for me to wear. It just looks stupid on me. As far as i'm concerned, they will do nothing to fix this. They have a no exchange policy (which i was unaware of, before this situation) and take $5 from you when you return an item. I would not recommend shopping from them online, at all.
In the past 4 weeks, I have had 2 shipments with someone else's stuff, with my receipt delivered. The box of crap has merchandise worth maybe 10 bucks, I made orders for over $200. Noone will respond from customer service, and it is Christmas Eve. These gifts were supposed to go to my kids. UO should be sued
My package was damaged in transit yet urban outfitters is denying after I can see it on my end through tracking and even called the shipping company for verification. The customer service agents are poorly trained and do not care one bit. This is the second time I've had bad business with them and I will no longer support this brand. Shame on them.
I placed an order online back in November with this company. One of my items arrived fine but my second item which was a glass globe was delivered shattered. I have been trying to reach the company for 6 days now and the phone number they provide is no good. Their online chat bot always says no live agent is available and after several other electronic attempts to contact them including message sent from chat bot and email no one has returned my call. I used their afterpay installment system so I can't dispute the charge with my bank and the AfterPay installment company refers you back to the business for refund. First and last experience with this company.
Ordered a package on the 12th and received a e-mail confirmation stating that I would not be charged until my items have shipped and I was deducted the funds but every single time I check my order status it says "has yet to ship". Getting in touch with anyone that works for their customer service is a total nightmare and not to mention that UO chat bot is completely useless! Will never be giving them any of my business, I will be filing a dispute with my bank to get my money back & I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. You guys suck!
I have now had multiple experiences with items I ordered online going missing on the shipping commute and items being canceled weeks after ordering with no compensation. I will not being ordering online from their store again.
This was by far, the worst customer experience ever. Tried x3 to reach customer service but couldn't wait more then 20 minutes. Today I decided I'd have to wait for however long it took as Christmas is quickly approaching... waited 30 minutes and asked for a supervisor immediately. All this for a gift card. Never again.

Worst Customer service I've ever experienced.
They got the address wrong on a shipment. Though I told them it was wrong, they completely ignored me, and shipped anyway with the wrong address.
Two days after this they responded to my first complaint email with a "cut and paste reply" This reply had absolutely nothing to do with the email I'd sent them, even though they quoted my email in the reply.
They also ignored social media messages and twitter DMs.
Finally found a phone number for them through the saynoto0870.com website.
"Gary" offered no apology, refused to take ownership of the problem they had created and was arrogant, rude and unhelpful.
Order was for a christmas present. Gary wants to wait until the courier finds out they can't deliver to the address that UO got wrong, wait until the courier returns the wrongly addressed items to them. Then after christmas they may think about refunding me.
Useless, rude, arrogant. Worst customer service ever.
When placing a $330 order online with Urban Outfitters, I was not asked to insert an address for delivery and simply prompted to pay. After being charged on 11/12/19 before shipment of my packages (11/13/19) I realized the delivery address was not accurate. Upon this realization I contacted Urban Outfitters customer service before delivery of the packages and requested a reroute. I was informed by the employee that they would be contacting the carrier, OnTrac, and requesting a reroute for my order and that I would need to wait 24-48 business hours for a confirmation email. Two days passed and I heard nothing, so I contacted again and was informed that my package had been delivered to an address in another state and that the carrier would pick up the package and reship it, and that I'd need to wait another 24-48 hours for a confirmation. After not receiving another confirmation I emailed their customer service requesting an update on the location of my order and received no response. Finally, I called the carrier OnTrac, and was informed that Urban Outfitters never contacted them or requested a reroute for my order and that they would provide documentation of it. When using a chat service resource on the UO website, an employee was not helpful and explained that this is not their responsibility and that they were sorry for my inconvenience. I requested for a reshipment or refund and they refused.

Never place the order in this store. They canceled my 3 orders for no reason. Also, one time they sent me a Newborn baby products :D.

Order Number: TN******* Worst experience and I am done shopping with your company. I made a return by mail, items were received never got s refund. When I called I was told that they sent the items back to the store. Not even a phone call or email to let me know. I had to call to find out where my refund was. I to wait for hours while the customer service agency figured out where my refund and items went. I am still waiting for my money. Very incompetent return team. UO you just lost a customer
Ordered online and they cancelled my order and took payment! I called them and wanted my order placed and they told me they couldn't help me. Bunch of drips
I never knew there was a "DON'T BUY FROM URBAN OUTFITTERS" movement on-line, until I typed, "leave a review for urban outfitters" into my google. So, now I feel the need to share my experience as well. It goes a little something like this:
I purchased 2 items from UO about 9 weeks ago. Within a week or purchase, I received one of the items, but not the other. I decided to go into their chat room option on-line, and asked where my other purchased item could be. They said it was on backorder (it was not on backorder when purchased). I tell them I am no longer interested in receiving this item anymore. They give me a refund. Then today (9 weeks later), I get a receipt via messenger from my PayPal account mentioning that I had made a purchase from UO. Feeling a bit frustrated, confused and possibly hacked, I reach out to UO, and call their customer service line. The customer service rep seemed professional, and somewhat nice, until I asked the question, "Why did I not receive any notification that there were going to be charges on my personal account, for something I tried to purchase/then cancelled over 9 weeks ago?", and then his tone shifted to irritable and rude. He started to give me the runaround. Making it seem as if there was nothing they could do. The call ended shortly after, and I was left feeling as if I HAD done something wrong. Sad feeling to be left with when trying to find help with customer service on a problem they had caused.
Most of us on-line shoppers, want their items in a speedy fashion, hence why would Amazon be as successful as it is with it's overnight shipping, and prime memberships, for example? If an on-line shopper were to have to wait over 9 weeks for an item that they had purchased, it truly would have to be something they MUST HAVE, or who would really wait that long for a purchase? Nor, who would want to be charged for that same item 9 weeks after, when most(if not all) purchases are charged right when you check out? I was caught off guard, and now I'm having to deal with readjusting my finances because of UO. And, as for this particular item I originally tried to order, it was NOT WORTH the almost 3 MONTHS of wait time, nor money.

The worst piece of $#*! I ever got in the mail,, i am not even bothering to return them,, why? Because the $#*!ing Chinese company will take 200 years to refund my money,,, so I threw them into the burn barrel and toasted the $#*!ing things
I ordered a day bed about two weeks ago. I was called 8 times in one day to confirm the delivery address and to let me know the status of the shipping. They said they could only deliver during the week and between working hours. I just got a brand new job and cannot take off work to accept a delivery. I was told someone has to sign it and I could not waive that. I was also told I could not pick it up. After I finally figured something out to have someone there to sign, I got a call saying they couldn't deliver that day and need to reschedule. Absolutely rediculous. The people and their system for delivering furniture are absurd.
Terribly poor customer service. Urban Outfitters has lost my return package itself and they are trying to transfer the problem to me and DHL. Now more than 7 months and 100 emails further, no money seen yet and on every email you get a content-less reply which does not take you any steps further.
Would give 0 stars if possible!
I bought a £149 chair mid April and by 10th June it was in pieces! Very poorly made - the legs caved in under me - they were glued in by manufacturer. UO refuse to take responsibility. Poorly made and dangerous! UO customer service awful! They are saying it is my fault. I only used chair as a chair - not sure what it is for if not for sitting. Chair also has all the screws on show so looks ugly and not consistent with style / wood / ratan (they do not show these on the photographs). You have to assemble most of it - not easiest thing. UO refuse to advise on regulatory process to resolve claim, emails just get passed around. You will never see your purchase or money again! Real shame.
I am. giving the products that i bought and came negative ratings just because i bought super sale stuffs and they cancelled it probably because the comforter sets were $9.00! Very bad bad bad bad customer service! Doesnt take care of their customers nor at least give a rain check! PLS DONT DELETE!
I placed my order may 17 and it said 5-10 business days for shipping. After 11 business days I still did not have them! I waited another day just in case and ended up calling just to check on everything. When I called the girls costumer service was not very great, she sounded like she didn't want to be there at all and over all just wasn't that helpful. She did however tell me that my package was returned to head office because it was "unable to deliver" and that I would get a FULL refund in 3-5 business days. I ended up only getting money back for the product itself, Not shipping or tax, so now I am down $20 :( the whole experience was pretty whack in my opinion tho, uo sent me an email with a link to track my package (like most places do when u order online) but this website hardly ever gave updates and never gave me a delivery date. It ended up saying it was delivered, even tho I never got it! So that was confusing! I still want this item but I am for sure never ordering online from here again! I'm definitely just going to go to the store!
I never received my order and after talking with customer service they basically said too bad. So I'm out $70 and will never order from here again. After reading reviews here, I see it's a common problem. They ship with lasership where it's basically a coin toss if your package gets delivered. Dont take the chance, just dont order from here.

Answer: Mine took a few weeks - but that was to Australia. You'll probably get it - but I hope you like it as they are terrible at getting back to you and getting a refund took me MONTHS!
Answer: Never bought from em, but they're so effin expensive like save urself the trouble and shop somewhere else like Pacsun, Brandy, even Romwe lmao.
