I had just bought a phone from Gumtree to find that it had issues. The phone tried to start up but then came up with an error message. UnlockSpector did a full report and we found that the phone was on the worldwide blacklist. So unfortunately it's a door stop and off to the police station with it... A good lesson when buying 2nd hand phones... don't just check the imei is clear because it might be blacklisted and they are different. (as I found out)

So glad I used this company. My phone was meant to be unlocked as I only use sim only deals. I changed provider and their sim wouldn't work, thankfully using unlockspector they found out that my previous sim provider locked my phone. Now it's all been cleared up.

After an initial false negative, UnlockSpector correctly identified my phone as ATT locked. After that they recommended a service that would charge me $139 to unlock the phone. I went to ATT website and they did it for free in 2 minutes. So the info US provided helped, but if you`re not cautious you might end up spending much more than you should.
