On May 7th I signed up for https://undetectable[dot]ai because they advertised a "3-day free trial" to test their AI rewriter. I entered my credit card expecting a no-charge trial period. Instead, the platform charged me $22.99 immediately, without any clear warning or consent.
When I contacted support, they said I exceeded a 250-word usage limit, which would "trigger" billing. But this limit was never disclosed clearly during sign-up. There was no warning, no popup, no agreement screen, just a charge.
They refused to refund the money and only offered me "credits." This is clearly deceptive behavior and violates the spirit of free trial marketing. Be careful – this company is misleading users and exploiting lack of legal oversight.
I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the Wyoming Consumer Protection Unit. I encourage others who were affected to do the same.

I signed up on March 16,2025, for what was clearly advertised as a 3-day free trial. Instead, I was charged $539.00 immediately without warning. Their credit system is also misleading — I was told that 1 credit equals 1 word, yet I was charged 6,000 credits for a 1,000-word article. To make things worse, the very first document I tested failed detection on ZeroGPT, which defeats the entire point of their service. Support was slow and dismissive. I was told my refund request would be "escalated," but nothing has happened. I've filed complaints with the FTC, the BBB, and the Attorney General of Wyoming, and have started a credit card dispute. This is not how a trustworthy business operates. Avoid this service.
