We stopped purchasing from them a long long long time ago, but I still get these huge catalogs. What a waste of paper! Also our mailbox is usually full of them so there is no room for any other mail. I opt out every time I get a new catalog registered under one of my coworker's name, but it seems that is a never-ending story!

I was looking to purchase a second hand dolly that I bought a few years ago at my local hardware store. It was on sale there for $30 and has been a great piece of equipment for hauling my Costco shopping items from my car into my home. It folds down into a few inches, can support up to 330 pounds and fits easily into my trunk. My hardware store doesn't carry it anymore so I did an online search and got a number of "right on the money" hits. Uline was selling this dolly--an exact match to the one I own--for $85 plus shipping. Their shipping prices are outrageous. Then I checked the Amazon link and found the dolly--also an exact match to the one I own--for $45 plus free next-day shipping. It arrived today, I assembled it in minutes, (easy attachment of the 4 wheels) and I'm good to go. Bottom line. Uline, as most people on this thread have discovered, has become an obsolete ripoff. Avoid it.

Do not use Uline if you value your business.

As a small business I must make choices everyday about who to order supplies, packaging, food and services for my business. I also need to be able to make decisions based on these orders.

Here is a perfect example of another failure by Uline.

I ordered a simple order talking to a representative on the phone. The representative assured me the product was available to be picked up in the Coppell, Texas location the next day. Although Uline charges a ridiculous $25.00 fee to pick up any size order from their warehouse, I decided that would be a better option than overnight delivery.

I called the warehouse the next to attempt to add an item to my order, which I was picking up before the end of the day. At that time, I was told my original order was not in the Coppell warehouse and could not be picked up. Now I am stuck trying to fulfill a business need in less than 24 hours.

Uline, you have become obsolete in the world of Amazon and other retailers who simply can do everything better than you are doing.

Do not use Uline if you value your business.

No customer service

We have been getting the Uline catalog for so many years now and we do not order from it and I have requested them to stop sending it so many times. We don't use paper catalogs in the first place and in the second place we don't order their products, but no matter what venue I use to request them to stop sending it, it just keeps coming. A huge waste of resources and very frustrating.

I bought a "Leather Executive's Chair - Dark Brown" which is suppose to be genuine leather office chair and had it for about a year and a half. It's fake leather and the pieces of leather are peeling off.

I spent a huge amount of time creating custom labels on this website at a cost of over $500 only to discover the shipping was going to be $200 or I could pick it up myself for a fee of $179! Ridiculous!

My first attempt to order from this company I kept getting the delivery after 5. After leaving instructions to call if it was after business hours which didn't happen. I canceled the order and was charged anyway for the order. They kept sending me an overdue notice but I canceled the order. I finally called them and they said it was a mistake and sorry. Well I took a chance on ordering and this time I got the order but they charged an arm and leg for shipping. When got The bill I paid with my debit card, well I assumed I did this was in June today I get an email saying my bill is going into collections for non payment I did pay. So I called them the lady said my card wasn't honored. What so I find out they could only use the zip code associated with my billing address not my card REALLY that's their fault they didn't tell me that. I've used it on other bills. I do t need to add a photo I'm a very credible source this company is TRASH!

Never Again

Had their "so called" net 30... not. Grainger, $1000 credit limit for over a year, excellent. Uline is trash. Shady business services and questionable unwritten policies. Criminal credit practices. Once bitten, never again.

There is NO need to send multiple catalogs to the same location every month! It is unnecessary and wasteful. Your catalog is all online, where most people shop from anyway, so get with the times and stop with the paper waste.

Avoid this company!
We had general boxes and wine storage boxes delivered today in preparation for moving. The driver only would deliver on 2 pallets into the garage. We are packing and using the garage so we had to quickly shove things around now cannot get to anything.
What a mess! Better to have not bought the boxes. Now, we also will also have 2 old wood splintered pallets to dispose of that do not fit in a car.

Comparing prices

As a company we have ordered over $4000 a month for the last say 4 years. I just recently took over the position of ordering supplies and have found that the pricing from uline is absolutely ridiculous. I have been working toward not ordering anything friom them besides boxes and have found that i have cut our monthly spending cost in half. I highly recommend that companies look into alternative places to get supplies from. I have found that both webstraunt and costco are very well priced in comparison to Uline items.

I was a long time customer of uline and spent a lot of $$ there until I had a very bad experience with their customer service and decided to shop around. Much to my surprise I found that pretty much every single thing that I was ordering regularly from Uline (packing tape, cartons, shelving, akro bins, gloves, safety equipment, labels, etc) was much cheaper elsewhere. Most of it was cheaper from Amazon - which floored me because I had never questioned whether or not uline was giving me a bad deal.

So, thank you Uline, for your terrible customer service. I have saved a ton of money shopping elsewhere for my packing and manufacturing supplies!

Placed an order for over $500. Called a few minutes later to say I forgot to add an item. TOO LATE. Then they want to charge me $35 to ship a $60 item. I called my salesman, basically said it is what it is.
Update. Checked today, the order didn't leave there building until 2-1/2 hours later. That's annoying.

Very horrible customer service. If you purchase anything from them there is a very small tab when you checkout saying that you will get free items. We have ordered from the for years with thousands of dollars of orders and we never see that tab until recently. Shoot them an email asking if they will honor the free items since we have paid and we just never see the tab until recently. Their answer is flat no. I mean c'mon. After a customer spent so much money at your store and all we ask is 1 time free item and they just say no. You can pay for them (which is wayyy over price. For example: camping lamps for $45 which you can pay for $15 from Amazon prime)

They say you can pay for something that is supposed to be free. Horrible customer service and they don't care if you are happy or unhappy customer.
