SCAM! Stay AWAY!
January 9, 2018

Signed up for one single month, suddenly all kinds of charges appear on my credit card each month. There service isn't very good, they have NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, they list an e-mail But will NEVER respond to you. ONCE they get your CC info they just charge whatever, and DO NOT care... Complete and absolute Scam...

Not working for me
November 25, 2017

So far I cannot get Tunnel Bear to perform. I am trying to tunnel to the UK from the USA but most of the sites recognize that I am not in the UK when using TunnelBear. I took out a years subscription thinking it would work for me based upon reviews. Support as I have found out is useless and just too scripted. Checking out other VPN's on a monthly basis this time.

Completely disappointed in TunnelBear
March 20, 2016

After checking out various VPN's, reading reviews and trying a few free trials I decided to go with TunnelBear because it seemed like a trustworthy option to allow me to access sites not allowed in my country of residence and also to protect my privacy while online.
Whereas the free trial was fine, reviews great, and simple format were enough to influence my decision to sign up for a year with TunnelBear, in less than a month's time I feel as though I have wasted $50. (non-refundable). It begins with Netflix. TunnelBear has been unable to adapt to Netflix's new no-proxy policy so I can no longer access Netflix (which is banned/blocked by my internet provider). Also, the speed of my internet has been so negatively impacted I can't download or stream effectively so I rarely use TunnelBear, meaning I can't access the US websites that I need a VPN in order to do so. Simple things like PBS kids... So basically, I feel totally scammed by TunnelBear. And, they haven't answered any of my questions posed via their help section of the app in order to help me improve my TunnelBear experience. Seems they just don't care about their customers.

On Google Chromebook help I gave both details as to what happened (my computer couldn't work) and VERY detailed instructions on how I removed it (was a malicious extension), it could be it was hacked but that was ironic, because it was a "Virtual Private Network" that I was installing to protect my data if I used public non password protected wifi. If you DID install and couldn't connect with wifi go to Google Chromebook help where it is under Eva G author, under title. Don't connect with Tunnelbear..
