Got great help so that I could be confident it was exactly what I wanted and I knew how it would work. Next couple of days I made my purchase and downloaded the software (download worked perfectly). Burnt the ISO file to DVD just as instructed (worked perfectly). Then needed to do a bit of preparation work on my PC (Windows 7 compatibility stuff, getting myself a new email client and migrating my old Windows Mail) for a couple of days. Finally tried the upgrade. It bombed out part-way through the first couple of times with write errors (seemed to be problem with my PC rather than the Win 7 software). When my C: drive failed and I realized the backups I was doing were only of my data files, thank you Seagate, I was forced to reinstall Windows 7. However the product key I originally used was for an update instantiation. This product gave me new set of product key that allowed me to register the new Windows 7.
