"he free introductory part of the course was really insightful. Coming from knowing almost nothing about statistics and experimental design, I was glad that the theory was easy to understand while not feeling shallow. Just the right amount of information density and a lot of mentor support with practical assignments. The intro was good in setting all the necessary software for future steps. It inspired me so much I decided to dive into the full course.

And then... 8 months of math, statistics, analytics, algebra, theory of probability, finance, economics plus all kinds of computational tools. Oh, wait, add some management, social relations, advertising, psychology plus the rest of the social sciences. Not to forget about constant working on hands-on study projects! Needless to say, the course ended up being very challenging for me. Luckily, the mentors' attention seemed almost undivided: it felt like there were not many learners in the class. However, for the same reason, not many people seemed to interact on Slack, especially during the last three months.

To recap, the course was challenging, but I highly recommend it.

Data Science is a really, REALLY complex subject, which I happened to get a taste of during my last year at uni, so I needed something to improve my skills; that brings me to Practicum, which I have used as my main learning tool. Without it, I wouldn't have the proper system and guidance behind my efforts, and trust me - when you're studying complex mathematics, big data analysis tools and coding languages, you need ALL the help you can get :) I found everything to be very thoughtful and thorough, yet very compact and highly informative.

One of the best websites you can find if you're serious about studying Data Science. I don't want to spill the beans, but it's nothing easy. In a world led by technological advancements and soon by artificial intelligence, it's essential for people in my working field to get acquainted with the subject, and Practicum made it a whole lot easier to understand Python and the complex algebra I had so many troubles with. I'd love it if you provided more additional resources for every topic in case of one's need for a deeper understanding or general curiosity, but the course isn't missing anything out - very clear and consice, great experience.

I've been hired as a junior front-end developer by a company in Moscow; it happened three weeks ago. I'm learning tons of stuff at work: Vue.js, Webpack. My hours are 10 to 7, but even after hours, I've got plenty to learn.
Practicum has really set me up well for front-end work. I'm pretty much a full-fledged programmer at work already. JS could use some work though, :)) ) but BEM that we did in the first couple months has been really helpful. All in all, I've got some real working knowledge from Practicum.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the Practicum by Yandex team of developers: it's such a great product that's worth every cent. When I started the course I had no experience in ITI didn't even study anything to do with IT, but that wasn't an issue with Practicum by Yandex. Aside from the theory sections, I got tons of practice in each chapter, and there were gobs of lectures and webinars to help with any issues or mistakes along the way. I can't say it was easy, as I had to make a real effort, and of course I wanted to do the training. But if I didn't understand something, there were mentors, instructors, and a support team just one text away, keeping an eye on my progressso a special thank you to them!

It's a mainstay for anyone beginning their journey toward work as a web developer. It can be a challenging road, one traveled with trepidation and in fear of making a false step, though now there's the safety net that is Practicum by Yandex

I studied music professionally for 15 years, after which I moved on to agriculture. But that was only until I realized a year ago that I could become a software engineer! You spend all your time trying to stay motivated, and you wonder how practical what you're learning really is, and none of that helps you keep going. I couldn't wait for Yandex to come out with a course that worked for meI wanted something from a big developer. It turned out to be a challenge, but a fascinating one! Thanks to all the help I got from my mentor and coursemates, I'm ready to take on anything. You can expect quite a bit of work that will pay off with a range of practical knowledge, a sea of memories, and new paths for expansion. I discovered a new world full of opportunity, and thanks to Yandex, I know nothing I learn is superfluous or out of date. The skills I have will translate directly to the market.
