Just wish you could ship more fruit trees to Washington state and at proper time. I stuck the apricot and Mulberry trees in my garage but they were totally leafed out... not doing well. Probably a good three weeks early.
Plants were substandard and came later than was promised. I will never buy from them again. I also expressed my disappointment in an email and no one ever called me back.
Nope! I am out!
I have purchased nine trees from FastGrowing Trees.com and four of them haven't lived even a year while the other five are thriving. It is so odd. I purchased four citrus trees and all four were watered at the same time, brought in when it was cold, fertilized the same, yet one died. I purchased an avocado tree that hasn't grown or died. I also purchased four cherry trees and two of those have died.
Since I buy the bigger trees, I pay over $100, sometimes closer to $200 for each. This spring I purchased a pear tree from FGT.com and I purchased the same size and variety from Home Depot (yours was $125 more.) They were planted within eight feet of each other by our landscaper (like the others.) This will help me determine if your trees truly are heartier and produce more.
One is growing great, one is struggling what more is there to say you want at least 50 characters. So you have it
2 out of 5 plants very frozen dead but FGT took care of it very promptly. My guess is where in the cargo it was placed, probably right where a continuous blast of cold air was.
I went back to them as the first plant I got was in excellent condition.
One tree came looking dead. It had green leaves when shipped but is now void of all leaves and no signs of new growth.
We're so sorry to hear how your tree arrived! Shipping stress can cause plants to wilt and even drop leaves but typically make a full recovery! Being that we are plant people, we always like to ask our customers to give the plants a chance and not to give up on them too early. Just let us know if it does not start pushing out new growth in the next couple of weeks!
It's been over a month and I haven't received my plant or even heard anything about what it going on when my order
We're sorry for the delay in your order! It looks like you are in one of our colder growing zones so we have your order delayed for shipping until Spring. We have reached out privately!
Didnt apply coupon, trees came fast and alive. Can't be happier with what I ordered. Website is very easy to use. Especially like the directions on planting.
We bought a condo avocado, a veranda banana tree, and a mango. Still waiting on the mango (due to ship in April), but the other two arrived as expected. We have replanted the avo as instructed and it has lost all of the leaves it came with, but is full of new leaf buds. It looks overall pretty healthy thus far. The banana arrived looking fine, but the leaves and even the center stalk is yellowing and has brown along the tips and edges. It does have what appears to be a…bud? Growing from it's roots at the bottom. It was barely visible in the ground when it arrived and is now sprouting new leaves and growing. Hopefully all continues well! So far, I am happy with my purchases and would defn recommend this site.
The trees came perfect, only lost a few leaves. I planted them and there has been no shock noticed at all. Weird to get a tree in a box, but it worked for me and customer service seem to be super nice. Thanks.
The tree I bought was dead and dried up when it arrived.
We're sorry to hear about the concerns with your tree when it arrived! We are reaching out to get some photos so we can assist you further!
Very quick delivery and everything was well packaged. Plants were in excellent shape. Will purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com again.
Trees arrived on time and just how they described.
I purchased for wisteria vines, and two jacaranda trees. The jacaranda trees are alive and seem to be doing OK after about 10 days.
However, the wisteria vines do not look like they are coming back. I am still trying to give them some time… The weather has been nice here they have been planted as instructed, and watered regularly… So disappointed but we will see what happens.
Your wisteria may still be dormant which can be normal this time of year. We have reached out privately so we can help!
First Kiwi plant didn't handle shipping well and arrived wilted. Gave it over a week to recover but it never did. Called them up and they had me send them a pic of the tree and they agreed it didn't look like it would survive and the immediately sent a replacement. New one was just a little wilted and I believe it will bounce back. Overall, a good experience
Mornings tree arrived broken for the second time. Over $200 down the drain.
We're so sorry to hear how your replacement tree arrived! We have sent a private message to get some photos so we can take a look and help out!
So far so good and selection is what we wanted., after 2 weeks looks like it is doing well.
This is a tentative review. I have not received the products ordered yet. I have been in contact with customer service, and they have been very responsive this far
Response from the customer service was excellent. Staff were very helpful
Last year I bought a fig tree and a key lime tree. Fig is great and growing. Key lime came as a stick with a few leaves. Leaves fell off within 2 weeks and 'tree' became a stick. Stick never grew. I paid an amount. I called several times and finally everyone agreed - tree is dead. Tried to buy a new one and price is double for replacement, even with discounts. And, I just got a letter saying tree may have had some disease. No follow up on payment has been received. Awaiting the 2nd/ replacement tree that I had to pay insurance for so really paid insurance x 2 for this dead tree.
We're so sorry to hear that your plants were not what you expected and we didn't receive your email! We are reaching out now to get some photos so we can see what you received and offer some assistance!
