The shipping of the plants was delayed by about a week, not sure why. The plants arrived with the leaves very dry. I immediately removed plants from box and watered them. We planted them exactly as per instructions and watered and watched closely. At this point, one is doing well, one is struggling to survive and two are not alive. How do I get replacements?
My trees on arrival looked…. Fragile. I've planted them but am watching to see if they take hold and grow.
I order a bush and paid more for the bigger, thinking that it might bloom this year. But it was really smaller then I thought. But the plant was health, easy to plant.
As long as the American Boxwoods and Giant Thujas "make it" through the summer and into next year, then this experience with FastGrowingTrees will have been a slam dunk. Their shipping has been fast and dependable, and their packaging pretty reasonable (perhaps the first order I made was better packaged than the second, the second package having a little bit of damage and the plants themselves not looking terribly healthy). The sales are worth waiting for, is what I have learned, and as long as these things live through the summer and into next year, I think I'll be ordering with FastGrowingTrees again. But, right now, one month in the ground... too soon to tell. Everything is still looking shaky, shocked, and alive, yes, but not awesome. I am willing to give them another month or two to start to thrive. We'll see.
One of my plants was delivered upside down, causing most of the blossoms to fall off immediately. I received no reply to my letter of complaint. I DID however, receive TONS of ad emails - more than once a day.
Heard the ad on the Adam Carolla Show. Supposed to get a discount but couldn't get it. Was not intuitive and simple, but I purchased anyway. Very satisfied with the plants when they arrived.
I didn't receive my complete shipment despite getting confirmation the shipment was complete. Plants weren't in the best condition. FedEx told me that they didn't deliver one package due to damages yet it was repackaged and sent with dead plants. They tried to replace plants but not sure if it's the delivery or how plants are sent it hasn't worked out. I spent over $800 in plants and I am very disappointed. Especially with my neem tree which was expensive for me. I was told it was from shock but the root wasn't even secure in the pot and the leaves are dried and falling off and so are the little branches. I was expecting a secure and sturdy tree instead of the frail dried up little one that is falling apart.
It looks like a replacement neem tree has arrived! We have reached out to see if we can do anything else to make it right!
Three strawberry plants I ordered suffered during delivery, one seems to be surviving in the ground. FGT replaced two quickly, one suffered in shipment. I planted both, one seems to be surviving, the other struggling but may make it. I believe the products are good and the company wants to make good on shipment issues, but I think the problem is either the method of packaging or more likely actual handling during transportation. I would not complain about FGT but advise opening a shipment quickly to provide quick TLC.
I ordered a Robinson Crabapple but received a Profusion. I contacted FGT that night (Friday) and had the correct tree by the following Wednesday. Packaged well, branches in tact, in good shape for moisture, and planted the day we received them. They are doing well! :)
Spent lot of money thinking unique plants looking at pictures. Plans came dried up, not healthy, half dead
We're so sorry to hear how your plants arrived! We have sent a private message to get some photos so we can take a look and help out!
Got a fast growing tree it got here in record time planted about three day later it is doing great
The agent I spoke to was very friendly and helpful.
Bad clientele service. Poor product. Small and in very bad shape when received.
We are very sorry to hear how your replacements arrived! It looks like we've been able to assist with a replacement order!
Shipping was timely. Plants were very, very good. Good selection
Still to early to tell. I have blue berries and strawberries bushes. A couple of berries so far, but still to soon for a review.
Easy as pie ordering
I was very impressed that immediately after sending in a photo of the bad tree I was told another was being processed to send to me. Also that i didnt have to worry about returning the first tree :) very good customer service
Two INCREDIBLE lime trees! I ordered them, but only one arrived for some reason. I called customer service and they were very kind, empowered, and accommodating and straightened out the mishap immediately. A couple of days later, the second tree arrived and it was very strong and healthy - just like the first one.
I ordered 2 trees that were replaced 3 times because 1 of the trees kept arriving snapped in half. Literally 3 times it was snapped in half. Packaging is extremely Poor. The other tree was literally a stick with 3 leaves on it. 200 dollars for a 6 foot stick… after all this I can at least say they refunded me. I went to my local garden center that day and spent half as much on a tree twice as big and full with a 3 year warranty THAT I DIDNT NEED TO PAY EXTEA FOR. I will never ever consider buying a tree online again and even less so from this site. Absolutely ridiculous
Thank you for the feedback and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused!
Ordered rose trees from your site. I was expecting them to look a but sad when they got here but they still have no blooms. They have red new leaves - i give them Rose food weekly. All the ones at the garden centers are bursting with blooms.
We're sorry to hear about the concerns with your rose trees! We are reaching out to get some photos so we can assist you further!
Your customer service people bend over backwards to make a customer happy, including a rapid refund, but you wouldn't have to refund money if you would just simply listen to the customer.
I don't want a topped tree. I don't want a topped tree. I don't want a topped tree. That didn't work, either. It's clear what you call pruning is a major hack job simply to get a taller tree in a shorter box. That's not what I want. Your people tried to convince me that the hacking was some kind of artful pruning.
You sent me a second tree which was 10 times fuller, but your packer hack all the top branches to get it in the box. Your people said that there were no special requests. Since when is not doing something a special request. It appears that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.
Thank you for the feedback and we are very sorry for the inconvenience! This is a common pruning practice and with us shipping thousands of orders a day, we're unfortunately not able to honor requests.
We are so sorry to hear how your plant arrived and that we didn't receive your email! We have reached out privately to get those photos so we can assist you in making this right!
