I had really good experience with previous trees that I have bought from here.
I've ordered twice this season and I keep coming back for the deals (buy 1 get 1 specifically) and the items grow so well and so fast. I'm so pleased with my purchases!
I have been purchasing plants, shrubs, and trees from Fast Growing Trees for three years now. I have never been disappointed. The plants are healthy, well packaged, and exactly as promised.
So far so good. Positive experience with the previous orders that I ordered.
Everything you've sent thus far has arrived packaged well and with as little shock to the plant as possible! Thanks for your careful handling of the trees and plants!
Excellent. My Lemon tree is doing just fine after three years. Fruit last year.
I've ordered several times from FTG and have only positive experiences. I live in SoCal, the plants arrived in great shape. They were a good size and well rooted in the container.
My previous experience was mostly positive, but one Crepe Myrtle arrived as bare stems with no growth on it at all. I planted it anyway and new growth is appearing, but it's all out of the ground. I paid for a healthy plant that was 5-6 feet tall, but that's not what I received. I would have been embarrassed to actually send it to a customer. The rest of the order (a second Crepe Myrtle, 3 gardenias, 4 blueberry bushes, 2 lantana and a Carolina jasmine) consisted of all beautiful plants.
Not sure what I ordered but remember it was a good experience
Company provided me with excellent product so I had very little difficulty taking care of it.
Fast Growing Trees always sells healthy plants that thrives and doesn't require a lot of maintenance.
Hoping for a better experience in the quality of plant. Different variety. Never had a concern before, always great quality!
I was going to give a higher rating but forcing me to describe my previous experience makes this one less enjoyable. Just take my money and ship my trees.
The previous tree I purchased was a 4-5ft Frost Proof Peach. It came alive, but was basically one single stalk with a couple small branches at the very top and any lower branches were chopped off. In order to get the shape that is necessary for proper peach production, I had to prune about 2-3ft and all of the new growth off. So I basically bought a 2ft tree at the price of a 4-5ft one because of poor pruning from the nursery, and I won't have fruit for another year or two because of it. Wasted money.
Those who are familiar with growing peaches know that they should be pruned with an open center from a young age. The main branches starting no higher than 18-21 inches to maintain a proper open shape. The one I got had one main stalk and a few branches at about 4ft high,(WAY too high to salvage it without cutting everything down to 2ft and hoping for better next year). A fruit tree nursery should be more than experienced in proper peach pruning. I'm purchasing a smaller one in hopes that it will be short enough to prune properly without chopping half of it off and putting me a year or two behind on my growing schedule.
Still waiting to see if last purchase continues to make progress.
Expert consultation helpful for understanding what will grow well in zone 5. Also took into consideration results of my soil tests. One area in particular has very acidic soil. I've ordered previously from Fast Growing Tree company and the plants always arrive well packaged. Some look a little frazzled from the ride but they seem to perk up once in the ground and settled.
It's been a few years now since I bought several Arborvitae and 2 other windmill palms and all are doing fantastic!
This is the third growing year for our 12 Leyland Cypress. All but 2 are dead after this winter. The first 2 years were fine and they were thriving. I am sick over this.
I've ordered several trees over the years and they have all thrived. Easy ordering/shipping, and the plants arrived healthy and intact. I really appreciate the warranty; I have used it once before and that replacement tree is thriving!
One of the trees is great, the other died. Ok, they have the survive and thrive guarantee. They quickly approved the replacement. However the same tree is $45 less than when I bought it. Not only do i have to pay shipping on the replacement but they refuse to price match the new price for the same size. You would think they could cover the shipping and still pocket the extra $20 but they refuse to even do that. It just feels a little gross.
