Trees arrived broken in half but lady got me a new one in replacement
I had over $3K worth of trees that died. They are giving me a store credit. I don't want a store credit. I want a refund.
Tree came nicely packaged. Planted as instructed and tree is thriving and healthy
The plants are as described and are of good value.
I have landscaped my yard with trees and shrubs from Fast Growing Trees and everything is looking great. The plants arrive on time and in great condition. Highly recommend.
One tree was dead a week after arriving last time. Customer service was slow. They did not refund my money but gave me a credit which I did not want. So now I'm using my credit.
Ordered peach and apple trees a few months ago. Trees were delivered on time and were well packaged.
Bush arrived with half of the leaves curled up and dying. I followed all the rules, bought the recommended fertilizer. A few stems had small leaves at the top but they too eventually died. Not much hope at this point.
I have order from Fast growing trees multiple times. I only had one issue with one of the deliveries with plants being damaged during shipping but it was handled quickly and I got replacement trees one I reached out to customer service
For my replacement tree for my American red maple, you sent me a Brandywine maple. Brandywine Maples are not for zone nine, only through zone eight. Four days after receiving the tree and planting it, it had a fungus. Brown spots all over every leaf. I sent a message to your company, and your AI told me to wait 30 days! 30 days? Do you know what happens to a tree with a fungus in 30 days? I have been spraying the tree with a fungicide, but it is not helping. Also, since we are in zone nine, we have had 3 to 4 weeks of 100° weather. I have faithfully watered this tree and sprayed it with fungicide, but it is not going to make it. How could you send me a replacement tree that was not the same tree I originally ordered, send me one that was not suitable for zone nine, and then not respond to my request even after 30 days? Your tree is so spindley, the trunk isn't even a half inch in diameter and you expect this thing to last through a month or more of hundred degree weather? I will not be ordering from your company again. I have yet another American red maple that has died. I am not going to request a replacement. I will buy local from now on and will get something a little more robust than the spindley trees you send.
I was really excited about my new trees and flowers. The trees have turned brown and the hydrangeas are really struggling even with the replacement when the first ones died. Such a bummer.
The tree I ordered was healthy and in great condition. Very impressed.
I ordered 1 Apple Tree and 2 Cherry Trees. The Apple Tree was A very nice tree. The Cherry Trees were smaller than I expected. They've already lost all their leaves and I hope they don't die Thanks
I ordered 6 shrubs that were rather expensive but I was reassured by their alive and thrive policy. 2 arrived rather damaged. I took photos and answered all their questions about the state of the shrubs but it was a bit of a struggle to get the replacements. Now a couple more have died and I am debating rather or not to contact customer service again or just to cut my losses and order through a different company.
I have a Lil Kim Lilac tree and in my front yard which is beautiful. I am hoping this next tree thrives as well.
Overall I'm satisfied. My tree was taking awhile to ship so I email customer service. Here it was on back order but I didn't now that. The customer service person directed me to the small print that said back order then I saw it. I suggested making it bigger, or more obvious somehow. The tree came very thirsty and rough, the pot was wrapped in a bag but dirt still got out, the leaves were brown and the one side of the tree lost its branches. So expect it to come in rough shape due to shipping. Since planting it's doing well, I picked the brown leaves off and new green ones have came in. The side where the branches broke off during shipping is still bare, I'm hoping branches grow in.
I'll know more after they come through their first winter.
I will be quick - your team is a little to quick to "turn down" or DENY a claim with out understanding the true background or circumstances around a consumer's problems. It took me 20 contacts to FGT to have one human understand our issues and only then after 3 days of back and fourth, did someone understand out issue and grant us replacement trees.
It is quite possible that we take our business somewhere else.
For the most part, the plants come well-packed. The company has no control over the shipper, which has had mixed reviews.
