I went to the website and i sent an email to their team asking if they had a tree that i could hug and they said no.
I bought a bracelet and absolutely love it! I also love that a tree is planted for each purchase!
I fell for the bracelet fundraiser, not expecting alot - BUT I was billed twice, once for 2 ordered & 1 I did not order -this Business Phone doesn't answer or is busy. I will not participate in a fund raiser such as this again.
Keep giving me stupid ads that are annoying and I told them to stop and they will not stop. They are so STUPID and DUMD! DO NOT GET THIS APP!
I received a product with frayed seams. After reaching out to customer service they said the product was fine and wouldn't offer more than a coupon for $10 off my next order. Very disappointed with the product and customer service. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
I orderd 2 bracelets soon after the Bush fires. I amm Still waiting for them. Please csn you refund my money.
WhAT A SCAM ordered in May still have`nt received anything they keep sending me tracking information and it doesn`t go anywhere. Do not order from this company they just take your money.
In the website is not specified that at the moment the you receive the box you need to pay 14.00 more for the customs. Also they made a mistake with the bracelets, they told me that i will receive a refund that never arrived. Absolotuley avoid!
Ordered 2 bracelets in January in good faith to support the bush fires. In April I chased them as supposedly dispatched, the tracking info from their courier didn't work. They claimed the bracelets could not be delivered due to missing house number on a security auto-fill address. Not resent and here I am in July being requested for a review.
Here it is: The bracelets are dropshipped from China and the cost is pennies. The tree-planting partner has apparently disassociated themselves from the company and took £1 approx to plant each tree. Do the sums.
Like so many others, I ordered a couple of their bracelets following the awful fires at the start of the year in Australia and I was drawn to their advertising about saving the koalas. My first surprise was learning that the company are actually based in the USA. I waited and waited - nearly 4.5 months to be exact - and finally received a card from Royal Mail saying that I had to pay duty of more than what the actual bracelets cost in the first place! I haven't bothered to pay or collect.
If I could give -5 I would give that. Ordered in January - received nothing. After lots of emails. It is a scam
I have similar story, now 25th June, have emailed them continuously since I ordered bracelets latter end of JANUARY! Finally insisted on a refund, after every excuse under the sun (big demand, covid-19, delays in shipping from China (even got details of it stuck in some warehouse in China!), finally they said they would refund me, that was about 3 weeks ago, then even sent me email confirming the refund was processed, now making excuses about computer glitch, and they are very sorry, very sorry, very sorry for my trouble. Absolute scammers, and I realised too late I had been sucked in like many other people trying to help the Australian habitat after their dreadful fires. I'm still chasing and will continue to do so daily. Don't touch them, they are an absolute disgrace
Do not believe anything Treehuggers say on their website or social media. It's a scam. They do not deliver in time, they do not respond to mails unless you send them something. Always nice words of apologies, but no actions. Wish I had never come across them. They should be ashamed, using contributing to a better world their theme, and at the same time exploiting their customers!
I ordered a bracelet in feb. In may they indicated it was on its way. DHL notified that the package was in transit. Then it dissapeared from system. I reqeusted my money back in June. They indicated it was authorized, still no money. Suddenly my emails does not go through. Think they changed their email address. Fake business.
First, it took over 2 months to receive the bracelets from when I ordered them. Right away, I contacted the company and said that they were too small. They gave me the option of 1) returning them, with me paying shipping costs or 2) keeping them and receiving a 50% refund. I chose Option 2 and received an email from the company specifying the amount of the refund. I have emailed them numerous times because I haven't received my refund. Each time, they respond quickly with apologies, but that my request has to be elevated to a manager or a different department. Was even told once that the refund had been approved, but still haven't received it. As other purchasers have stated, this company is NOT in Australia and the Truth in Advertising website notes that planting a tree after the devastating fires cost only $1. Treehuggers does NOT plant the trees and the nonprofit organization they had contracted with has cut ties with them. They are a SCAM corporation that pretends to be an environmental group. Do not buy their bracelets!
I would like to say, thank you to TreeHugger, for letting me cancel my order due to financial issues and then for sending me a bracelet for free, because I really believe in their cause. Emily is a lovely lady who was prompt in answering my questions and very understanding. I will use them again in the future,
Frances
I ordered at the beginning of March, it is now the middle of June and have finally received the two bracelets I ordered. But I did have to pay £14.70 customs duty first. I'm utterly disgusted about everything to do with this company and I feel like I've been conned. How do we even know that trees are getting planted? I bought as presents but there wasn't any printed material with them to explain about the koala habitat or what the bracelets were made from so I've just kept them for myself. I like many others feel stupid to have been scammed.
Has anyone else received this notice from treehuggers. Still waiting for my refund weeks later. Poor business practices
"We're very sorry for the trouble this has caused you. As of the moment, we do not have phone support and we can only assist through email and chat. We are currently having a system glitch in processing refunds but we are now working to fix it. We will make another follow up with our manager and keep you posted as soon as we have further updates".
Just as the title says, few months after ordering and never receiving anything. I just got a bill from the postal office saying I've got to pay an absurd amount of money for customs!
I wanted to support a good cause and spontaneously bought 2 bracelets to support the reforestation in Australia. After I had not received the order by the end of April despite several Email exchanges in which they gave all sorts of excuses I canceled my order and received a confirmation that the refund is being processed. But one month later, also no refund and their new excuse is that they have a glitch in the system!
Their email replies (which usually come within minutes which implies there is customer service but are probably automated) are designed to buy time so that the buyer does not take any further actions.
Any new buyer should exercise great caution when buying from them.
Answer: Total rip off. False advertising.do not buy from these people
Answer: Sometimes, but full of platitudes and promises which are never upheld
Answer: Facebook advertising with 10-day shipping, I could not find any other organisation offering to do the same. One of the bracelets was for a friends birthday in February to show her support for the koalas.
Answer: 6 months plus and still waiting, ordered January and it is now July.
