I signed up for a one-year subscription with TradingTools. Software, which sells a $500 Chrome extension for TradingView users. I stopped using it after a few weeks and did not intend to renew. I received no reminder or renewal notice, and my credit card had expired months earlier. Despite this, they still processed the charge. I contacted them within days asking for a refund. They refused, even after admitting the card was expired. One of the owners even said, "I am very surprised that an expired card could have been charged. This I would for sure raise with the credit card company as a concern if I were you." Despite that, they kept the money. Their only "solution" was to pause my license until a future version is released—something I never asked for. When I pushed back, they banned me from their Discord server, which is necessary to access support. After I shared my experience online, they threatened legal action instead of addressing the issue. They claim to operate under "TradingTools. Software LLC" but I could find no business registration in any U.S. state, and their Stripe receipts point to a residential address in Washington State. This company appears to operate under false pretenses, ignores consumer protections, and retaliates when challenged. I've filed reports with Stripe, the FTC, the Washington State Attorney General, and other consumer agencies. If you're considering buying from them, be extremely careful.
