It's hard to win but once you find a strategy it's easy. I've won over 280$ in value with just 35$. It's a fun game, and you have to be careful. The customer service is also very nice. They respond quickly!
I won some awesome headphones that have noise canceling technology. I had been wanting some but they're so expensive and I was so excited to win them on here. Talk about an adrenaline rush. Haha.
Very similar to gambling, and not a good way to get things. Waited over three weeks for my package scheduled to get delivered in three days.

I won a free pair of earrings worth $150 on this app and they came in the mail the next week! I started with 100 free discount tickets, so I ended up not spending any money in the app. Unfortunately, if you want to win you have to have discount tickets, which cost money. Other than that, the app is great!
Fun to compete but you have to buy bids to be able to realistically win. Expect to spend 20-40 dollars to win item.
So what if you have to pay a few buck? You're already getting a hundred dollar item or more! I'd rather pay a dollar or two than that retail price! Awesome app.

You really do win real prizes playing this game. It's true that you might have to invest some money into some of the tournaments, but you end up winning high quality prizes, and at a fraction of the cost of their retail value :) The Trivia games are also fun, as well as trying to get into first place and staying there. It's really an exciting experience.
It is great! You win some, you don't win others, but it is a boat load of fun! I play every chance I get. On my cell and on my ipad!
App will steal your money, then when you win back tickets, they won't refund you. Awful app, do not recommend it at all, save your time and money for better things.
Oh and if you actually win? I did win once and a "$2500 purse" I won off there showed up with a broken strap and they never sent a replacement.
Great app and heavy discounts. I have shopped lot of things backpacks, tablets, choppers, trolley cases. Lots of great stuff to buy here
Plan on spending a good sum of money. Gave it a try. Shame of it is that they turn the end of the auction into overtime forcing ppl to use enormous amounts of their "discount" tickets trying to win over priced merchandise. Check their prices against other sites like Amazon before you decide how much you are willing to waste. When they want 120 tickets near the end that's equal to $6.00 a bid. Might as well put it in a slot machine. Already hard core penny auction gurus on the site that do this for a living. This must be a new twist on penny auctions. Check out deal dash and you will find the exact same merchandise. Played on deal dash years ago but they got away from offering useful merchandise. Now its nothing but over priced furniture and art most aren't interested in having.

We tested tournaments internally without overtime before launching, and found that everyone waited until the last few minutes to squeeze in rounds of trivia. The result was that the winner was not chosen by merit, but by chance. Overtime keeps the tournaments fair and merit-based. We'll be adding loads more tournaments in the near future with new merchandise and more opportunity for the regular shopper to win great deals. This app is garbage. I played twice and had to spend money to keep up. I still ended up losing and wasted so much money for nothing. I feel so cheated. It seems like the winner is already picked. You shouldn't have to spend money for a "free" prize. Honestly to be legit, if you lose you should be refunded or receive an actual gift card of your "earned credit". I gotta stop falling for these scams. If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS! I'll be deleting this app and save the little money I still have left.
Didn't know I was that smart! Enjoyed the many catagories available. Looking forward to winning more. Didn't spend that much to win & used the items for xmas gifts.
All of these people writing five-star reviews saying they've won a few times are bogus. In order to win, you have to get at *******+ points, which is what the first place person always seems to remain near. However, what they don't tell you is, they start asking you to pay money or watch ads at ******* points. Then at *******, ads are no longer an option, and the higher points you get, the more "discount coupons" it costs to play each round. Some of the prizes are legit if you check them on other websites, a lot seem over priced and are marked "handmade" so there's no option to compare.
Overall, trivia portion is fun, but the commercial sells it as something it's definitely not.
Hi Brian, all reviews are by real shoppers like yourself who have won items. Not every tournament goes beyond 27000 points. When you spend discount coupons you earn a discount on the item, even if you lose. Let me know if you have any questions [email protected]

Usually our items ship out within 1-2 days, unless they are a 'presale' item in which case the shipping date is mentioned in the tournament title. We don't think our tournaments are like gambling. One of the reasons is because you can't really lose on Total Trivia - even if you aren't the winner of a tournament, you always earn a real discount for every penny you spend.
