I wanted to add I'm still playing to determine the value of an experience its hard to estimate it until you have tried all the tournaments and types of trivia questions.
I like that it adds something to your normal trivia. Still fun as long as you don't put up too many coupons then can get a little stressful trying to keep being the first.
Fun games n competition to win the prizes but only thing to be careful not to spend money on tickets is baaadd! It's fun but lots of patience to play.
Edit: after I wrote my original review, the rules of the game changed from earning a discount if you didn't win the item for free to not getting anything at all but the winner has the option to exchange the item for more discount coupons. Since the change, multiple "big hitter" players have come out of the woodwork and have exploited this option, dominating the tournaments and exchanging their wins for more coupons so they can keep winning over and over. This leaves any one else who actually want the items they're playing for SOL since they have no chance in hell beating someone who's accumulated 10's of thousands of coupons. There are around 15 different players doing this and they play at all hours of the day and night. The Total Trivia developers are aware of this and have told several complainers that they're working to remedy this problem so that the game is fair for everyone. Until then, I'm putting my playing on hold. There's no sense in spending real money and earned coupons if I'm going to lose them all to these unfair players. Changed to a 2 star review since the app is essentially unplayable until they change the rules again to make it fair for all.
Original review: I've won 3 times in 2 weeks without spending a dime out of pocket. It takes time, patience and carefully choosing which tournaments to play in. Play the challenges and save up coupons to help you win. Again it takes time and patience but it is doable. I did spend some money to win some big ticket items but really it's not necessary. The game is fun, the questions are multiple choice, the prizes are of good quality and the shipping is extremely fast. Originally gave game 4 stars****
The app is really great and we get real gifts for playing the trivia. The trivia becomes a bit redundant after some time but getting products for free keeps you going on.
I've been winning prizes like crazy for free and the best part is their high quality prizes brand name

I really enjoy playing on Total Trivia. The categories of prizes are diverse, so finding something of quality to play for is easy. I loved be the questions and seem to learn new facts frequently.
While the app is initially misleading in that you have to spend Discount Coupons to win a tournament, it is very easy to earn these coupons through the daily challenges. So far I have won multiple tournaments without spending any money. Would definitely recommend!
This is a fun game to play, and it is set up like an auction. It is not difficult to win anything either, so long as you save up your tickets.
First of all, it's legit, and the prizes are great. Second of all, it's super addictive and there are some really aggressive players--so figure out who they are and don't get in over your head! Overall, really fun, but watch how much you're adding to your account--the $s add up fast!

Addicting & fun game. Have won several nice prizes. However there are a few "Professionals" who jump in at the last minute and steal the items. I've seen RyGuy on 5 or 6 items at a time & you can't outbid him. Not fair to the rest of us! Also SoCur, Testing101. & a couple others. I now won't bid on an item if I see one of their names. Ruins it for the rest of us. Hope TotalTrivia will find a way to limit these people.

Love playing trivia and with the chance to win prizes it's even better. Unfortunately it's practically impossible to win something without spending actual money so you can easily get carried away when you're close to winning.

Hi Emi L, thanks for the updated review. I am sorry that you experienced this. You are correct, when we changed the rules to a Discount Coupon Guarantee, it did create some 'big hitters'. We know it has been frustrating playing against these players lately. But we have since implemented changes and will implement more, which will still reward winners but gives everyone a fair chance of winning.
