After playing all the trivia apps, this is the best one without any gimmicks. The rules are simple and clear. So many categories to answer at. - Jacen
Have had very good experience with Total Trivia. Customer Support Team is on the go, Fast response to your questions. Items won are shipped out fast. Totally "AWESOME" site. Love It!
Total Trivia is a great game. The prizes are absolutely real. I have won nearly 100 tournaments now. I have received many nice items from my winnings. You can win really nice items even if you don't spend any money. The key is patience and timing. Here is a referral code to help you get started: Just enter the referral code stjono when signing up to receive 10 FREE coupons. That might not sound like much, but I have won multiple tournaments with less than 20 coupons. Good luck!

I feel like a total sucker. These guys got $550 out of me! Yes, I know, you are thinking that I'm an idiot. Perhaps. But let me tell you how they do it. First, the good news, right out of the box I won a $400 (supposedly) water fountain., Here's the thing. It cost me $50 to do it! Well, I'm thinking at least I came out ahead 350$ right? Wrong. Now I am hearing that the items are not nearly worth the amount they claim. How did the get the $50 out of me, you ask? First let me tell you that they ask some of the same questions over and over, making you think, "Hey I might be able to win something here." so they draw you in. Each level asks for more coupons or watch an ad. So I watch the ad a few times so I don't waste coupons. Then when you hit the 6,000 point mark and you are in first place a challenger comes along. No problem, to be expected. Then they don't give you the option of the ad, they say you must have a certain amount of coupons and it costs $1then $6 then $20 and so on as you progress up to $100. At the start you figure, well for a $400 it's worth a few bucks. I ended up buying $50 worth of coupons, but I win. Not a bad deal I'm thinking. Of course, as I said, now I'm hearing the items are cheap, Yes, I went to Amazon and saw the item prices exactly the same as what I won, but now I'm hearing they just enter the item into Amazon themselves.
Moving on, I go for the TV at $3,400. I figure is worth spending a little bit to get there, but, hey, I'm nearly an expert in my subject area so eventually I will win. That's when you find out that when the timer gets near the 3 minute mark and you time it for the last few SECONDS, your competitor magically jumps in and timer bumps back up to three minutes! Suddenly you find yourself in a bidding war with this lightning fast, wealthy genius that I now realize was most likely a BOT. I stupidly continued, thinking this "guy" can't be putting in more money than me and be so fast. So, yes, I ended up losing $500 (I figured, up to the last minute, it was still worth it for a $3,400 item).
In the end I assume that the bot goes up to about $1,000 or so until maybe they let you win the overpriced item, who know. Usually, I assume it ends up where suckers like me put in a few hundred and drop out. If they do that a few times a day for each item, they make good money. I can't prove that is what they do, but WATCH OUT!
I was skeptical at first until I started recieveing the items I won in the auctions. It takes some time to build up your coupons to play an auction. Overall this game is fun, and addicting.
I love this game. I can say it is very addictive. You can win really useful things for free or buy them with a discount. You can invest some money to buy coupons or just follow every day offers to build up your stock of coupons for free. I have already won three items with just a small investment. I would recommend it to my friends.
Answer: HI Jennifer, Thanks for your review. We have made good steps in the past week towards fairer tournaments for all. No employees or bots play on TotalTrivia - each user is a real shopper like yourself. Please be aware that colluding in tournaments goes against the terms of use you agree to when you sign up. If you have any questions about this please email [email protected]
Answer: Hi Linda, absolutely no players are working for Total Trivia. We take that kind of thing very seriously. This user is clearly very passionate about the game, and is making the most of the new 'exchange win for discount coupons' feature. We're currently working on finding the right exchange rates to promote balance and fairness across the tournaments. I thank you for bringing this to our attention, it will help our developers in their endeavours. If you need anything at all, please reach us on [email protected]
Answer: At what point. There is a strategy if you are gold or platinum +. Free to 7195 single, triple(free for the boost), single (free for yakking on Facebook) that would be 12795 only spending 768 coupons. Win a big pot, exchange for coupons you can do this multiple times.
Answer: First of all, you can win up to 200pts per question if you answer the question fast enough. That being said there are 5 questions for a maximum of 1000pts. You can boost x2 or x3, so if you double boost you can get 2000pts more or if you triple boost, you can get 3000pts more. When you do a fast track, it will jump you to the top, but 300 pts behind the leader. The best scenario would be to x3 boost for 1 coupon, then fast track it (300pts behind leader), then max out your trivia at 3000pts, putting you at 2,700 over the leader. GOOD LUCK!
Answer: Hi Coleen, You can join as many tournaments as you like at any time. If you use up your discount coupons, they wont be replaced automatically. You'll have to purchase some from the store page. In the near future there will be a number of ways to earn them without spending money - keep an eye out for these!
Answer: Hey Andrea, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Thanks for your feedback and great question! While Discount Coupons are used to activate boosters in a tournament, they are a great and strategic way to catch up to the leader if you enter a tournament when it is already running. Depending on what your strategy is, you may very well find that boosters are an effective way to help you win a tournament. Keep in mind we are available 24/7 Phone: (855) 321-050 Email: [email protected] Thank you for being the best part of TT.
Answer: Hey Caren, This depends on several factors. The skill of the player, what trophy they have and how much the other player wants to win. With good tactics and Trivia skills you could get to 10,000 points for 0 discount coupons. I looked at a recent $50 Amazon tournament and scoring 20,000 points took shoppers between 10,496 discount coupons to 27,328, coupons can be earned and saved up for free but buying this many coupons would cost $10-$25
Play Trivia to Win Real Prizes!

Hi Brad, thank you for leaving this review. First off, if you haven't already been in touch at [email protected], please do so we can issue any refunds for you. I'm sorry your experience wasn't an entirely happy one, I'll address each point below.
1) The items are actually worth the retail price we list. If you saw them for cheaper on Amazon or eBay, that probably would be an illegal reseller who won them on Total Trivia for a huge discount (or for free). Reselling is against the terms of use and our compliance team actively have listings like those removed.
2) When the tournament is under 3 minutes, it is in 'overtime'. 2 minutes get added to the clock so you have a fair chance to continue playing once someone goes past your score. It is not possible to start a new trivia round with under 10 seconds on the clock. When we tested tournaments without this features, everyone stalled until the last few minutes of the tournament before franticly buying boosters and answering questions until the time ran out. Then the winner was not rewarded on merit but more by chance.
3) There is no bot. Every shopper on Total Trivia is a real person like yourself doing their best to get a great deal. We are happy to say that the vast majority of our shoppers end up saving money overall due to the discounts they earn, and the free items we give away each day.
