I found the free evaluation of my CV helpful, I was able to upgrade my CV and gain a post on the back of free advice.
However I saw CVNow as an investment in my professional development and they have helped me to produce a polished and professional CV,
I found communication via email to be good although some responses felt a little bit automated, My suggestions and queries where taken on board during revision periods and response times between drafts was ok.

At first I was sceptical that the free evaluation of my cv was purely marketing. But when I got the feedback back with very specific, objective points that needed rectifying, I was sure there was scope to improve my CV a lot. CVNow did a good job in transforming my CV in terms of content, look and feel, structure/size and most importantly made it achievement-based (with input of me of course).

The final plus point was I asked for a second "ATS" scan that examined how the automatic systems see the CV that many employers/job sites use. It needed quite a bit of further work and tweaking to make it really good, and even though that was after the review period, CVNow handled this really helpfully without any quibbles.

It is too early yet for me to speak of results as to landing on the dream job, but I am very pleased with the CV Now work on my resume and other documents they prepared for me.
I heard of them through a complementary CV feedback I received via a job application. The feedback was very thorough and I'd say accurate too. One of the authors shared CV diagnosis information which I had come across in conversations with other jobseekers too, so I knew that the feedback was not just a 'salesy' tool. I took a the step towards requesting professionally written resume for a couple of reasons. 1. because I had done multiple resume versions myself and still didn't think they fully portrayed my abilities. 2. because CV writing professionals know what headhunters look for in a CV and what the current demands are, and therefore can tailor words and descriptions more effectively.
3. for a professional look of my resume - format tailored to my target industries, easy to read and bringing to the surface my skills

The people I was communicating with were regularly in touch - enquiring relevant information and updating me with timescales etc. I received my documents earlier than estimated and they were at very good standard. Feedback work was also quick and precise.

I am now in a process of active job hunt and so much more confident that I will land on a desired role in near future. No doubt this requires a personal effort, but with the right CV tool is so much easier for tailoring a resume to specific roles and also time saving.

I would recommend this investment to anyone who wants to feel confident in their job search.
