Hi all,
I'm a recent graduate student, I honestly didn't expect much when i'd uploaded my CV. Having gone to my uni career advisors, I had thought my CV was strong. However, since I was failing to get much interviews then something is definitely off.

TopCv is after testing my CV business application filters. The feedback I received has been very helpful and advice given was well placed. Although, I would have liked if they recommended more areas that required improvement.

This is a scam. Don't be fooled by the free review like I was. It sounds promising, but what you end up with, is a horribly formatted dated template, filled with nonsensical, generic blurb. No effort is made to make the CV about you, it is just a mess of jargon. The questionnaire you complete will be ignored, my CV could be written for anyone. After weeks of complaining I got a second draft, this time by one of their more senior writers. This one was worse, with many spelling and grammatical errors.

I uploaded my CV for an evaluation. It was free and to be completely honest I didn't expect much. First thing next morning I found the evaluation e-mail in my inbox. An accurate, detailed report about everything I needed to know. After correcting my CV, responses from jobs FINALLY started to come. I am so thankful for this. I would have never thought of these things by myself, so I trusted the pros. I highly recommend this service to everyone.

I had been using my old CV on an online job site and received an email from Jenna at TopCV explaining that I could send my CV to her and she would review it. I was 100% sceptical but desperate, so I uploaded it and was amazed to get an extremely useful review back the next day. It looked so professional that I thought it was a generic review at first but I realised that my own words and phrases were quoted and I then took it as a serious aid and followed Jenna's advice to completely transform my CV into a much improved version. I was then able to upload my CV and a potential employer had already noted that it is excellent. It is helping me to sell myself effectively to the right employers.
I was then offered a check of my new version for a fee but I didn't feel that I needed to do that. I've recommended the service to my boyfriend because he is looking for a job over 65k and I can see from Jenna's advice that he could improve it with support.
Overall, the CV review was unexpectedly useful.

My CV came out very well written and extremely professional, I was very impressed with the outcome. Their free initial CV evaluation is also top-notch.

However, I did feel that my revisions were written slightly lazier than the original draft, and sometimes my additions were copied and pasted into the CV completely unedited by the writer.

But on the whole, I am definitely more proud of my CV and feel that it is helping me achieve more in my job search.
