I requested free samples from a facebook ad. Paid the shipping. They came and was not as good as the name brand ones. So I decided not to order full pack. I get a charge on my credit card and I contacted them to cancel and no one got back to me till it shipped and they said no late. I ended up contacting my credit card and got my refund. Worst customer service and not great product. STAY AWAY.

Through the Facebook ad, I ordered the free sample pack with $1.99 shipping and checked out as a guest. I was excited and told my friends about that great deal, and thankfully they never got around to ordering it. Once I received my samples, I received a PayPal notification for a $24.99 charge from Down South and immediately contacted them via email to reverse the charge and cancel the subscription I never asked for. They told me they can't cancel the charge and sent me a computer screenshot of their website showing where it says "free trial pack with a subscription." I then tried to reverse the charge with PayPal but it was taking too long so I canceled that request and just contacted my credit union and they agreed that Down South was refusing to cooperate. The funny part is that once I got the refund, they BANNED me from their Facebook page even though I didn't complain on there.
I also gave one of my small sample bottles to a friend and we both agreed that it didn't even work. I'll just stick with buying AirWick VIP spray from Walmart.

Been fighting with them for a couple of months regarding a refund and cancellation of the account but they keep charging for the subscription and on top of it I never received the product on the last one they charged for. All they keep telling you is to go to the website and change it in your account. Go to account and it says account does not exist... try to create an account and it says account already exists. VERY shady people I have also contacted the BBB and filed a complaint as well

I ordered the trial kit and decided to try this for a couple of months. As they advertised, pnce the trial period is over, I will get a regular subscription. I was ok with that. I even added another product. I specified the dates and how often I wanted the product. Surprise: started receiving products way before the time specified for me and they even added a subscription for the trial kit as travel kit without my knowledge. Immediately canceled. I guess I keep my poopurri and wipes.

This company Down South Brands, LLC toilet spray has unethical practices. They will lure you in with their trial size sprays for $1.99 and then send automatic shipments of these sprays in a slightly larger size for $24.90 without your consent! Then once you email or call their offices to cancel no one responds. They will try their best to keep your money even if you refuse the package and have it sent back to the company.

It took me 2 months to receive my money back and that was recently in the month of March 2020. The product was refused the same day this company sent it to me. I also reached out to them several times as soon as they withdrawed money from my Paypal account. I'm glad however that I paid through paypal and not a regular credit card. I was able to open up a case against this company. Once Paypal received proof of my payment and proof that I sent a USPS tracking # to prove this company received the products back and I also showed the emails I sent with no response paypal got a hold of this. They then ruled in my favor and that is when I received my $24.90 back! This company is disgusting and very unprofessional. The only time I received a response from them is when I emailed them and said I opened a complaint/dispute case about them with Paypal. Other than that every attempt to reach out to Down South Brands, LLC to solve my refund issue was ignored. They already had the product and did not want to refund my money. I will never do business with them again and I advise everyone else to do the same. You want to deal with a good toilet spray company try Poopourri. Great products, good customer service!

Ordered a trial and did not realize it was a recurring subscription until after I was charged. They also do not accept returns for subscription items. Usually subscription websites will notify you before fufillment that you are subscribed. I was never notified and am now out $27 because they don't accept refunds. Speaking of refunds, their website has no accessible refund policy, they say 100% money back guarantee (with exceptions) but I believe that is just there for display as they do not respond to you asking for even a partial refund. Now I have spray bottles that I do not want and cannot return. You'd be better off using poopurri or making your own.

Wasn't going to write bad review when I tried sample and didn't like product. They charged $25 autoship. I asked to cancel they refused as my free sample. Came. With subscription. I then asked to return product when it arrived as I would not use. Was told they will not accept a return because I had subscription. My mistake not. Reading that I'd be billed for products I didn't choose and expected them to hold up.to their 100% guarantee.
Cheap knock off of other brand and the worst customer service I've ever seen! Stay clear unless you like getting ripped off and told they're sorry you hate it but enjoy product.

This review is strictly about the deceptive business practice and not the product. They promote a $1.99 trial (via facebook ad) with a subscription beginning 15 days after you order your sample. I cancelled future shipments at the same time I ordered the trial. Regardless, the full subscription shipped out 15 days later. They claim to have never received the cancellation and were completely unwilling to correct the situation. They do not give cancellation numbers so there is no way to prove that you cancelled the first shipment. They offer "100% money back guarantee" however claim that that guarantee "doesn't apply to subscriptions." I would recommend not trying the trial but if you do, be extremely cautious when ordering from this company. I think you are getting at least one, full priced shipment no matter what you do. Take screenshots when you cancel as proof because you will have a battle on your hands. I ended up disputing it with my credit card company and Paypal and received my money back through them. If you research the company they also go by the name Down South Toilet Spray. Many similar reviews from others.
