Be careful in reading the small print! Their interpretation of what is written is different from yours and mine! "Allow extra time due to Covid"; well, 5 months ago I would have accepted that! "Delay of 10 days in shipping"; forget the shipping, you need to be more concerned with the PROCESSING! I placed an order, THREE weeks later it still hadn't been processed. I've called Customer Service 3 times. All 3 reps have gone through a very scripted speech. I've called them out on the explanations given me. It states on the website you can't cancel once the order is processed---here's the good part! My order will be processed "sometime this week." BUT, even though it hasn't actually been processed yet, I still can't cancel it. And the next statement was the clincher for me--"Then it will be 10-15 business days before you may receive it." 15 business days = 3 weeks! Again, be careful, and I hope you aren't ordering a birthday gift you needed in a month!
Shipping is awful. Been more than two weeks still have not receive my purchase. They had shipping issues way before covid and wildfires.
Whenever I go to TJMax the line is always about 15 minutes long. They have 6 cash registers and about 2/3 of them working. They're able to have a lady dealing out shopping carts and one monitoring who comes in and out of the store but they can't have they're lines move a little faster. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but it's always been like this and it's not getting better. I hope this changes because I love coming to this store but it makes me sick to think about it.
TJmaxx cancelled my orders several times and not even bother to send an email to let me know. I am not sure if it happens to others. Most of the time, TJmaxx cancelled my orders of more expensive stuff. Because of its terrible customer services, I tent to buy less expensive things from TJmaxx but from time to time, I just could not resist the price and decided to buy. The results had been the same, they got cancelled. Do they do analysis of people's situation?

So I frequent TJ Maxx often but because of today's experience I will never shop there again. I had been to the store 2 days in a row and I normally shop at TJ Maxx when up north so I thought the Florida one wouldn't be any different. I picked out a few outfits and found this nice red romper I like but with many of the different items on the floor it was a bit disorganized. I found 3 of the same rompers with different prices so naturally I took 2 of them to the clerk during check out. At check out I asked the clerk why the same outfit had 2 different prices. Naturally I want the one on clearance but they both were on clearance. I asked the clerk why this was and I'd like the bigger size. She told me she couldn't sale the bigger size for the clearance price because it has been in the store as long as the other. Mind you same outfits. I felt like I was being cheater and that there are getting over on shoppers asking the same outfits for different prices. I simple perchased the outfit and told the clerk I wouldn't be shopping with T J Maxx again!
A huge shout out to Doris &Dyanne! They gave excellent customer service at the Beverly Hills location. They took their time and explained the difference in the metals used in various jewelry. Needless to say we bought it all! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!
They have nice clothing but they clothes looks like it from the 70s. Most definitely need to update the styles. The clothes looks like something my grandma would wear
Disappointed. Place an online order to try out Tjmax since could not go out due to virus. They didn't ship all of my order, and no email to let me know of delay. I guess not ordering from them again.
I bought toblerones and they didn't put them in my bag. I was looking forward to them the whole ride home and now I don't have any toblerones. Pissed off. Bag with no toblerones shown.
DO NOT get a TJ Maxx CREDIT Card because they RIP OFF customers. Their card payment window is from the 5th to the 28th if you pay on any other day of the month you will get a late fee and your payment will not go toward next month's payment. If you set up auto payments for any days of the month between the 28th and the 4th of the next month you will accumulate fees. They do this on purpose to make more money off their cards.
My wife adores this store for its wide range of different clothes and shoes. I completely agree with her. You're always able to find interesting clothes in this shop.
Today, 12/2/19, I was offered the chance for purchase discounts. I was in the application process when it came up to the requirement of entering my SS number. Why was this required when I was not applying for anything serous, like a credit card. The cashier did not know why when I asked. NOT COOL! And not returning.
Went there today had the most horrible experience ever with the guy who stands at the door with the ear piece hes the most disrespectful son of a $#*! I ever came across I've been going to that tj max for years I will never return there ever again!
When I was at the check, this gril with blond hair that hand the manger tag on Amanda was acting very rude to her employees infrount of a few of us customers, she had been rude to them a few times when I was in there, she even made one cry.
I order a Nautica men's swimming shorts, I received a woman's Cable & Gauge sweater. I can't even return to the store because the item was wrong. I called the customer service, was to told to go to FedEx office to ship it back, no apology. Now I am debating if I should send it back. With such a chaotic service, I am not sure I will get my money back.
I received a generic email stating my order has been cancelled. No reason given as to why. If you have questions you can waste more of your time calling them to ask why. I should have looked first as I see I'm not the only one who has had this issue. I spent time looking through your site shopping. Good customer service would be explaining why the items were cancelled instead of a generic email with no information.

I used a TJ Maxx gift card ($100) when I checked out at TJ Maxx in Santa Clara. The cashier told me they have to call the *******299 to verify the balance in the gift card. I said ok. I waited for close to 1/2 hour, and the cashier told me they weren't able to verify the balance in the gift card due to the computer is down. I said I will use my visa to pay for my purchase since I need to go back to work. Little did I realize that the staff at TJMaxx (the cashier or the one who made the phone call) stole the gift card number and CSC code during the time while was waiting. Because when I tried to used the gift card a week later, my balance is 0 (zero)! I'm pissed! I will never shop at TJ Maxx again. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE
Answer: This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
