I've been buying ALL my tires from the TireRack since 1987, when you ran ads in Motor Trend Magazine. Since then I have recommended the company to countless friends and family. The best reason is the tire comparison tool. I always get the tires that I want, not what a dealer or shop has in stock and tries to sell me. Using the tool, I can prioritize what I want from the tires, whether it's performance, traction, price or longevity. You will always have my business. It's fun when the tires arrive in my driveway!

I have bought tires from Tire Rack since the early 90's. Still my go-to. But the process is so painless even partnering with a local installation provider. This is an impressive integration.
Last tires I got lasted a little over 4 years for $531 (not including mounting and balancing)! This time they are somehow even cheaper at $345! (4x 205 55 16) With free shipping! The web site is very easy to use. The products are good and the price is good why wouldn't I come back?
I needed a set of rear shocks for a 2007 Suburban. After doing research, I found KYB shocks on sale at Tire Rack. They were a great price for a name brand shock absorber.
I needed a set of 205/40/18 tires for a mini cooper. These tires normally are pretty expensive. But Tire Rack had these for a little over $100 each because they were made in 2022. But since they were in a climate controlled warehouse, dry rot was not an issue. I bought four of them, they arrived quickly and looked perfect. I had Discount Tire mount and balance them. Perfect solution for the Mini Cooper.
I purchased performance only tires and wheels mounted during the early summer. Several months later when winter was coming I took them out of the packaging and tried to install but they didn't fit. Tire Rack accepted a return and full reimbursement even though it exceeded their time restraint policy. First rate.

I just want an option to pick up the tires that I ordered from a Tire Rack location, without rigamarole of having to negotiate a price with the website's "preferred" installer. There used to be an option to pick up tires from the major distribution centers, one of which is near by my home. What happened to that option? I could not find it when going through the purchase.
