The Intercept thinks highly of itself and makes claims of not receiving corporate funding, though it was abundantly clear that a French billionaire, Pierre Omidyar, was funding the site for some time which permitted the editors to live in high style. But Joan Raymond, my friend, who has both donated and subscribed to The Intercept is finding it very difficult to unsubscribe. Come on, Intercept! Practice what you preach and pay attention to the little person!
