I mailed my measurements for the jackets and within relatively short notice I received the jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket was too small and I mailed my adjusted measures and returned the jacket. After a couple of weeks I received the jacket with perfect measures. Very nice soft leather. Mark was very kind and responded quickly on my questions. Also, returning of the jacket and individual adjustments were no problem. Great service! Another satisfied customer!

If you are looking for a company you can trust to produce exactly what is advertised and lives up 100% to the stellar reviews on this site, I can assure you The History Bunker is it. My one and only regret in ordering from this company is that I will never get to meet Mark, shake his hand, and properly thank him for delivering the best quality service and the best quality product humanly possible. It's a shame to do business on a custom, tailor-made product via email and never get to fully express one's appreciation. Mark was attentive to our every question as if he was right down the street. Moreover, his expertise allowed us to order the exact sizing we needed, thereby preventing a return. Because we live "across the pond," this attention to detail was invaluable. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to work with Mark and The History Bunker. I have received the Victorian British Police uniform and could not be happier with it. The quality of the workmanship is spectacular to say the least. The Melton Wool is beautiful and the fit is perfect. I looked long ago for an Erich Hartmann leather jacket for daily carrying. However at the majority of shops their jackets very strongly differed from the original. I stopped a look on two shops "Eastman" and "The History Bunker". In the first really worthy copy made, however, for me that Eastman-jackets are made more long than originals from 30-40's, and also cost is very great, especially in the condition of dollar exchange rate in Russia:-) I decided write to The History Bunker, they kindly agreed to sew for me Jacket of that length which I specified, and also install white ZIP's, which I asked. Now I received jacket and it really best quality and the best offer price on the Internet. In Russia it causes admiration! They also managed to repeat a buckle in a belt which is very important point of this jacket.

I was looking for a perfectly uniform identical to historical versions and a reasonable price, all this I found at the company TheHistoryBunker.
A highly professional work, quality in service.
I recommend it to anyone looking for the faithful historical reproductions.

I thought that I would say a few words on this purchase.
I live in Australia so all communication with The History Bunker was via e-mail only, and at no time was I uncomfortable with this purchase, the professionalism from Mark to the seamstress's is clearly evident from the workmanship of the uniform which fits extremely well, The delivery of the uniform was though a well known company (DHL) so there was little chance of the package going missing in the mail.
Over all I would highly recommend The History Bunker to anyone who is looking either for reenactment uniforms or show pieces. From Adam.

If you don't buy from Mark and his staff you are just wasting your money! I know this the hard way by ordering from another company. I have already odered numerous items. Mark and his staff have been beyond excellent in allowing me to customize the uniforms to what I want no other company has allowed me to do this. I now know why the Germans were so intimidating and scary looking due to their uniforms when I first opened mine out of the box it really put everything in perspective. If you are still thinking about buying a uniform and reading this you may be thinking just another review but I will tell you this if you haven't made up your mind you are stupid not to order from him. I would be more than happy to email you pictures of the wonderful uniforms he makes and I'll even go further I will put them on in a picture and send it to you just so you can see. Do not waste any time please get in touch with Mark and I will email you and he pictures. I would guarantee that if there was a movie being filmed on World War 2 I could put on my uniform and walk directly into the scene during filming and no one would not ever know I wasn't a actor due to his great uniforms I feel that confident. Now if that doesn't change your mind on whether or not to order I will tell you this. I have actually thought about taking a small vacation to his store testing hey small vacation two his store to personally meet him and his staff to tell them how great they are and to see everything behind the curtain so to speak. As I said earlier I would be more than happy to send you photos of his work for me. I've already spent over 2000$ and I plan to spend over 2000$ more! Just please do not tell my wife on the amount of money that I have spent and plan to spend more! His uniform are so awesome that if you rubbed 1 in the mud dirt and anything else dirty wise. They will Pass as real ones to anyone you show them to. I may have seen that done! How Mark isn't the only supplier of uniforms for World War 2 movies is unthinkable. I was so happy and thrilled when I received my first order immediately upon my second order I have never done this but I told Mark as far as insignia. I told him to make it very intimidating as far as insignia. Trust me he did above awesome. I know through numerous emails and the constant irritating him on questions I'm sure he dreaded my emails but every time he was very polite and just the best all the way around. I know I had given him many headaches so Mark I do apologize!
