I think you should consider doing even exchange for sizing mistakes on non personalized items. I ordered my typical size because I did not see the downsizing suggestion. If I were to return my shirt that is too big, I will end up paying at least $40 for a t-shirt. That's too high for a tee.
I've opted to alter my shirts at home.
