Tango has one of the worst customer services I have ever dealt with. I work for a company that uses Awardco to provide employees with points that they can exchange for gift cards, etc. I used my points to purchase a $165.00 gift card for Amazon which was issued through their third party vendor, Tango. When I entered the card number and claim code at Amazon, I got an error that said card had been deactivated for suspicion of fraud.
I reached out to Tango and was given a GCID number for proof of purchase and told that this is all I need to provide to Amazon and they will help. I have been speaking with Amazon for almost 2 months now trying to get someone to help me. I reached out to Tango again who says it is out of their hands. What do you mean it is out of your hands? I even asked for a receipt or order number and they cannot provide this. Amazon says there is nothing they can do as their is no order number or receipt of purchase. Tango then stopped responded to my emails when I started sending them the screenshots of what Amazon is telling me about the gift card. Amazon is saying that Tango is responsible for helping me and they cannot do anything without proof of the purchase. I had to get my employer involved, which was embarrassing. It has been over two months and I still have not been able to use the points that I earned. Tango finally responded again (after I got Awardco and employer involved) with the same email of telling me to speak with Amazon customer service. I feel like I am in a hamster wheel and no one is listening to me. It has been since October and I still have no resolution. I have since advised every coworker I can reach to not purchase the gift cards from Tango with their hard earned awardco points. I have been vocal with human resources about the poor support I have received. It is just crazy to me that I literally did nothing wrong. I received the award email and unquiet the information in Amazon. That is the extent of what I was able to do before being told the card was deactivated. I truly hope that the word will get around and our Awardco and employer platform will cut ties with Tango gift cards.
I would avoid any offer that involves Tango cards. THRICE now I've not been able to use them because of how complicated they are.
First, you have to keep a close eye on the expiration date: Cards are often not good for long — 2 months tops.
Second, there are too many confusing, arcane hurdles you must clear online to redeem them. I wouldn't be surprised if Tango created it that way intentionally so you 1) err and don't get your reward; 2) Press the wrong option, and suddenly the value of your card is gone; 3) you give up because it takes so long to redeem.
Third, the most recent time it said I have no balance left — that I redeemed it for a pizza delivered to my home a few days ago. No such pizza ever came to my home nor did I order one.
It's a shame these cards are so useless: Employers and nonprofits use them as "rewards" for above and beyond efforts. I've gotten mine because I donated blood or platelets.
If you read this -- https://www.tangocard.com/legal/terms-of-service -- you'll see that about 4 pages of fine print make it so you're not likely to get a refund if something goes wrong. And if you try, you'll "communicate" with an AI "helper" on their website, or they won't answer your emails.
Additionally, Tango card (under the name of the company that holds it --- BLACKHAWK NETWORK, INC., BLACKHAWK ENGAGEMENT SOLUTIONS) has been in trouble with the US Treasury Dept. too. Google it.
Getting a (usually virtual) Tango card to do what is promised resembles safe cracking. By an amateur. While police sirens wail in the distance.
First, I had to call the company that was giving the gift card twice to get it sent. Then, when I obtained this gift card as a promotion for IQ Fiber internet. I tried to redeem it, the instructions were clear as mud. I was doing the Amazon card and it showed you the card number and the security code and told you to save the security code and hit a URL link to redeem. But, when you hit the link, it is actually the card number you need, not the security code. Seems like a scam in that they are counting on some people getting frustrated and just not finishing the redeeming of the card so they can keep the money!
I went to purchase gift cards through Tango Card for a Taco Restaurant chain in my area. It turns out the cards I purchased were actually for a different restaurant of the same name that is not located in my area. I did not know this until after I made the purchase. A simple case of mistaken identity, but Tango Card would not work with me at all and would not let me exchange or cancel this order. This is the epitome of awful customer service, not working with me whatsoever. All Tango would have to do is cancel my mistaken order and offer a new one, but no they wouldn't bother working with a customer that had an issue.
I have been issued Tango cards several times as reward payments from various sites. I have never had an issue using them. The amounts have always been right and they have always been valid.
In my entire gift card trading life, Tango gift card has been the worst I have I have ever encountered. Ever since I got Tango Mastercard prepaid gift card, I have had difficulty using the card on online stores after I redeemed it. The stores keep rejecting it each time I try making payment with my virtual card. This has given me headache for weeks now and I have finally considered throwing away the cards
I do quite alot of surveys in my free time and I'm often rewarded with gift cards. Usually these gift cards are from Tango. I love that Tango has a rather extensive selection of retailers that your able to redeem to. Also if you have lets say a $20.00 gift card, your able to break that balance down into multiple gift cards with different retailers. Not having to spend your entire balance on a single retailer has really helped me out when l need to get items or services from retailers who may not carry items I'm looking for all together. Not only are your gift cards basically available right away, receiving them Via email helps out with the environment. Great job Tango!
I have gotten paid with Tango gift cards several times through surveys I have tsken on several sites. They are very nice people and eager to help you with anything you need help with. Its a great company.
So, I use Tango when I am paid for my online activities that are paid in this form. These are delivered via email and easy to select giftcards for 100 plus various merchants one can select. I usually get an Amazon giftcard. Checkout is easy, and just make sure your information and email is correct. The sweet part is, there's virtually no denomination too big or small to collect payments. I've recieved incentives as low as 50 cents and $1. I have never had a problem. I have been getting paid through multiple methods for 18 years, and Tango for at least a decade. I join online market research panels. There are surveys and product testing and more that pay decent money. You will be able to use immediately because delivery is usually instant. You can Print the giftcard, or choose physical form. Though there will be a fee, especially for Visa if offered. 100% legit money for an outstanding online business A+ highly recommended.
I don't actually get a Tango card, but a Amazon gift card for my participation in surveys that voter organizatoin puts out here in Georgia. They are only $2, but always a little help on my Amazon purchase.
I love Tango Card it's so easy to use. I redeem my points thru my game sites with tango card. I highly recommend it and it's secure so no worries.
Being paid out by Tango is easy and efficient. They keep me apprised every step of the way and are flexible in where my deposits can be sent!
Is a good company indeed, I rated them average because tho they are accurate, they also have some little faults tho but they are good.
Keep up the good work tango card
I've never heard of a "tango card" until I've made my first payment request 3 years ago on inboxdollars.com. From what I've learn, a tango card's value is based off the earnings you receive from completing tasks on one of the many reward earning sites online. Once you've earned one, a code will be sent your email. From there, you can use it to choose any of the giftcards that's listed on it's site. When you've made your choice, just enter how much you want on your giftcard. What ever value you applied to your giftcard will be subtracted from your tango card's value.
Tango cards never expire, so if your tango card has any money left over, you can use that to get another gift card. If your diligent enough to do online surveys or many other tasks, you'll be able to earn a tango card of your own.
Convenient and very accessible I should definitely recommend it to my friends and family. And will gave you a lot of option of gift card.
I found out about Tango cards from a survey site. I received a gift card from them on this site. I got to choose from a lot of great cards, it's a secure site, I trust it completely. I have no worries when I get a gift card on this site. It's fast, always deliver. Love these folks.
Great selection of gift cards to choose from. Very simple reward system. Fast delivery of reward cards
HAD ORDERED 2 Cfs Exotic Arabian Oudh Black Perfume RECEIVED THE ORDER IN TIME, BUT THE PRODUCT CANNOT BE CALLED PERFUME AS THERE IS ZERO FRAGERANCE IN THE RECEIVED BOTTELS, SEEMS THE PRODUCT IS FAKE.
I am a customer at ASOS for a long time. And unfortunately, I'm done with this company after they never figure out with my refund on $450-600. That's a lot of money for me. I dropped my three packages more than a month ago. They never receive my packages therefore no refund for me because I don't gave proof of postage. They couldn't even provide me with a USPS tracking number that they usually send with the order. With that said, if you just drop your package without a proof of postage, you are losing you money. You are responsible for that and they will not help you with that and it us no matter how much you spend over there!
Fast and easy to use gift cards. There are tons of different options to choose from. You recieve them instantly. Love when I get a Tango gift card!
Answer: Yes, Tango is 100% legitimate. Use giftcards just like cash
