Perfect if you just like taking surveys, but not if you are looking to make money from them. 90% of the surveys DQ you after answering a ridiculous amount of questions. It would be much more plausible and user friendly if companies were given a maximum of 4 questions to screen you for qualification purposes. I end up not using it for weeks to months due to the amount of wasted time. It is a great website for cash back on online purchases, and online deals.
I have been using Swagbucks for years, and though it has it problems, it is still one of the best earning sites. There are some issues with certain earning areas becoming stagnant, unavailable to everyone.
They are totally legit. Anyone giving negative reviews, claiming scam, probably got scammed by someone pretending to be from Swagbucks. The only issues I've had is the occasional survey, offer, etc not credit, but support usually helps get that straighten out, and credited if I met requirements.
I give 4 stars instead of 5 because when you do surveys sometimes you get to the very end and then they disqualify you. And when you spend 1/2 hour to an hour on a survey and then you don't get credit can be very frustrating. But if you look past that, you can still make good money doing the surveys plus they have a lot of other ways you can earn SB's. They also have games to earn SB's like the bingo card, and spin the wheel. You can also earn more SB's shopping if you add the Swabucks extension to you browser.

To the reviewer below that said Swagbucks sent them a bogus $1900. 00 check, you are sorely mistaken. Swagbucks doesn't send out checks. You were probably scammed by someone using Swagbucks name.
I've been using Swagbucks for about 8 or 9 years and have made a lot of money in that time. It's a far-from-perfect system, but it usually works out for good, provided you follow all details and keep good records of everything.
Swagbucks is a great way to earn extra cash and I will continue to participate. I am new to this site so I found that it was really easy to earn the points needed to cash out.

I gave Swagbucks a try since I had a better return at Best Buy than Ebates. Not a big fan of the point system, I do like to see the $'s rack up instead. The plus is you can cash out points for gift cards right away once you get enough instead if waiting quarterly for a check in the mail or $ to be deposited to a PayPal account.

I like earning Swagbucks and cashing them in for gift cards. I'm paying for my vacation that way. Only problem is that they are making it harder to earn them especially with the mobile apps crediting only four Swagbucks and that's it.

You have to go into Swagbucks thinking of it more as a platform that helps you get additional money back from stores online. It's similar to how a credit card gives you 1% back on all purchases. There are options to fill out surveys to earn swagbucks, but I, for one, usually don't qualify for the surveys so I don't bother with them. You can sometimes sign up for a mailing list and get swagbucks for that, then just unsubscribe after the first email and still get those bucks!
I have earned so many gift cards from swagbucks, just doing things that i would naturally do online anyway. I LOVE this platform, use it daily and will continue to use it as long as it exists. Its silly not to!
