I love the customer service! They are available 24/7 and very helpful! I also like how they pay easily after I withdrew my hard-earned money for the first time. It's a good part-time job for somebody who needs income! If you want to be a tutor, you should try StudyPool!

I have been working with the site as a tutor for close to two years now and they just banned my account without giving me a legitimate reason. To add salt to the injury they withheld the money I had done for previous jobs close to $150/=. In my years of working with the site, I noticed that the site is opted for by rude and underpaying students mostly. To get to a top tutor level is hard but this can be thrown down the drain by one rude and lying student who's out to scam you after delivering quality work. The review team is highly biased and will always place their judgment to favor students for revenue purposes. As a computer science tutor I wrote code more for different students, commented and even attached videos and screenshots of the running code and the student filed for a refund request. Surprisingly, the request was granted and I was suspended loosing my top tutor badge. The site exploits tutors into working for rude clients who are out to scam their way to getting quality work for less. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN! TRY OTHER SITES LIKE FIVER AND UPWORK

I have been working as a tutor with Studypool for almost 2 years now. I am really sad to say that this company has no respect at all for tutors; when a student leaves an unfair rating, they side with the student and do not even read the tutor's explanation or take it into consideration.

Most of the tutors I've connected with deliver the help on time or before the deadline, sometimes I might get after deadline. (+ refunds policy is good)

I had trouble learning since I moved to a different state. Even though my mom is very supportive, we needed the extra help, so a friend of her told her about this site where we could find great tutors at a reasonable price, and so we did! We met over skype and ever since, they have helped me a lot with classes.

Usually when accounts are banned, it's because they are involved in fraud. I would happily check this for you and post any evidence on here.
I'm happy to say that after making more than 1k in about 6 weeks, this has to be one of the most legit sites to make money on the internet. I started distributing more time here on Studypool and less time on Upwork since I don't have to wait for someone to find me, and I build really good relationship with students and they will then invite me to work with them in the future, that has been the key feature to the income TBH.

If only tutors could get actual video time with studypool users that would be the magic tool to set every other platform apart, I also write for Chegg among others but they don't even offer video but overall Studypool is easier to use

We want to use Studypool for our 10 year old daughter. I sent our requests to about 10 different tutors and only got back 3 replies. So there are many tutors on this site that are either inactive or don't have the courtesy to reply back to you. So, my daughter had a lesson with two different tutors and, unfortunately, they were not very good. Would not recommend.
What an unfortunate event, only thing is that we do not "sent requests" to our tutors. All tutors that (actually) send bids on your questions are active. And you can only reach them when you have assigned a tutor. So maybe you have the wrong product with this review.
It definitely helps to post questions on the go, or when I don't have my laptop with me so I can get help ASAP from a tutor, the Auto match feature helps with that effeciency and their team does a pretty good job of selecting the tutor most of the time.

The teacher lacks the knowledge and always cancels our meetings. He is unprofessional at times as he would ask so many personal questions. Would not recommend taking lessons here.
I love the way the sessions give us students a lot of control with how much we pay, another site I won't name gives pricing for you and you don't have an option to chanhge it. My only feedback for studypool is to enable an option to upload multiple documents. I had a time when I needed to send my tutor multiple docs, I had to transfer them one by one.
My english teacher I found them here because no where else I get the attention and personal teaching - favorite tutors on Studypool, I will keep using for more.

I had a bad experience with a different website, this is why I changed to this one. As a student who SHOULD work along with their tutor, you must check your paperwork is 100% original. I know you are paying an expert to help you with your homework, but you should check the final result before paying. Avoid the risk of getting suspended from school. It's like checking your receipt after buying a hamburger at McDonald's.
So far, the 3 times I requested help here, my questions were answered fast and the tutor meet the requirements and most important: on time.
Sometimes I don't know how to talk to a student. Even though I'm well aware they are in a hurry or stressed over something they need us to help, some of them might be a bit rude and you have to be as polite as possible but at the same time, they think you are being passive aggressive. This is con from working without having visual contact with the students.
I started working as a tutor 2 and a half months ago, unfortunately, I have attended 2 of 5 rude students. It hasn't been a fully bad experience, but I hope some students were nicer to us. At least in my case, that motivates me to help them as much as I can.
I'm looking forward for Studypool to allow their students to video chat with their tutors. It sends me to despair exchange text messages with my tutors -write, wait, reply, wait, reply... I believe that's a fastest way to work along or asking extra questions to the tutor about the X topic, especially when I need a project to be done soon.
4 times user, no problems with a refund I requested (I made a mistake in the payment amount) and no problems with any of the tutors I hired.
