I was a little reluctant at first based on prices and the UI of the website. Felt a little, sketchy to me - but the suit arrived. Fit well and was what I expected. I ordered a second and all my groomsman ordered from here.

Website was easy to use. I was nervous having never done a made-to-order online suit order before but it was the only place I could find tweed suits for my wedding. It fits perfectly, with room to spare (I picked classic fit, not slim fit) and is extremely comfortable. The whole process took maybe 3 weeks from order placement to when I got the suit.

My jacket arrived a little to tight. If a tailor had measured me it would have been better. Customers should be reminded to measure the way they want their suits to fit, not their exact body measurements. There are no tailoring remedies when purchasing online.

This review is mostly about the shipping, which was an absolute nightmare.

The website is ok and quite easy to navigate. If you have your measurements right, the suit will fit very well.
The clothes are made in, and shipped from, India. For my jacket, the value declared for customs was $45, which I am guessing is the cost of material. Seeing as the jacket cost me $230, I am saying that's a pretty nice profit margin. However, the jacket is nice enough and it is what it is.

The main issue here is that the company uses DHL to ship. You may not know but DHL add their own sneaky charges to customs fees. Canada customs charged $10 but the fees from DHL were over $30. I only know because my wife had to pay these charges on a package from DHL, where there were zero customs fees. It is a clear scam on the part of DHL.

I refused to pay this, as I am the recipient and had no contract with DHL. After around 6 days and dozens of emails, I eventually found out that I can self-clear the package. DHL were absolute scumbags about the whole process – but that is for another review. As far as Studio Suits are concerned, they really dropped the ball on this one.

Their customer service was a nightmare. You write to them and get an auto-generated email back. Then, a day or so later, someone will write with a scripted response that makes no sense and does not address the issue. You write back to that person and get an auto-generated response. A day or so later, someone else writes back with the same scripted nonsense. The cycle continues.

I eventually got someone who answered properly and said they would look into it. Three days passed. I wrote again. Guess what, I got an auto-generated email and a day or so later …

They clearly do not talk to each other or make any notes on your account.

This is why I give them only 2 stars. I am sure that if everything goes well, you would be super happy. However, the mark of a good business is how they react when things do not go according to plan.

And in this, Studio Suits failed.

This was the first time I ordered from StudioSuits.com. I hesitated for a long time before buying. I'm glad I did! The suit came out great (a bit long at the bottom of the trousers, but the blazer was perfect).

The overall quality is great and I will update my size chart so the next one is perfect.

Awesome and easy. I have NEVER dealt with a company that seemed to care so much about my personal satisfaction of my purchase. My delivery was received in plenty of time of when I requested. I'm speechless. The fit is perfect, the suit is beautiful, and I could not be any more satisfied! Thank you all so very much. I will 100% be doing business with you in the future. Horrendous. 0/2 on my first order and somehow again on my makeup order. I cannot state enough - do not buy from this company. My first order did not fit despite being input correctly. My second order did not fit despite being ordered correctly. My groom chose this company and that is the only reason I used it. If you think you're saving money, believe me, you won't after having to buy a second suit because the first doesn't fit. Now I'm out hundreds of dollars with two suits I will never wear again, one of which barely fits so I can at least match the groom and other groomsmen.

It was a nice experience in the measurement process, placing the order and receiving it.
