Followed measuring instructions and the fit was PERFECT. Some minor sewing issues noted. Two areas in the pants (inseam and side seam were not sewn closed. Fabric is decent for the price. Overall very happy.
Poor quality poor customer services
Upon opening my husbands suit visible rips in sleeves and back. See photo.
Jacket 3inches shorter than sons too tight and small. Pants made terrible seam up butt not right sat below waste line
50% of the wedding parties suites either are trash or require an overhaul. Not worth the money or Effort. Go to your local department store.
The suit came loose in the seat. Not sure if the measurements provided accounted for that. Will need to get it tailored to fix.
Very disappointed in the cotton suit fabric. It's very heavy and stiff. The suit looks odd because of it. Would not buy from Studiosuits again, would not recommend Studiosuits to others.
The Harris Tweed Jacket StudioSuits recently tailored for me happens to be the third Harris Tweed Jacket that I have bought and worn in my lifetime (I am 84 years old). I bought the other two Harris Tweed Jackets during my tenure as a university professor many decades ago, before my retirement. I was a university professor in Montreal from 1970 to 2000.
During my three sabbaticals and my yearly summer vacations, I travelled a great deal, especially to the USA, Central & South America, Europe and East Asia. In particular, I lived and did research in China for a total of five years. In Montreal, and wherever I travelled, no matter how far, warm or cold, I always wore my Harris Tweed Jacket.
Now, you may ask: what happened to my first two Harris Tweed Jackets? And why have I kept two jackets, instead of one?
HT Jacket #1: I bought the first jacket when I became a university professor at Université de Montréal (1970). I still have this jacket. Its Harris Tweed label says in English and in French that it was hand woven in Scotland. To me, that means I must have bought it at a store in Montreal (probably Eaton's or Ogilvy's). Unfortunately, Jacket #1's lining started to tear apart after a few years. I wanted this lining to be replaced, but I could not find a company that would do it at a reasonable price in Montreal. So I decided to buy another HT Jacket.
HT Jacket #2: I bought Jacket #2 around 1980. Since then, I have worn it daily until my retirement in 2000, and for each of my outings until 2022. However, a few months ago, I discovered that the material surrounding the jacket's two side pockets was slowly falling apart. I thus decided to part from Jacket #2, and go back to using Jacket #1, despite its failings. I used Scotch tape to keep the lining from falling apart!
HT Jacket #3. This is the jacket that I have just bought from Studio Suits. It is interesting to compare #1 and #3. I am pleased to note that #3 provides strong material that solidifies the entrance of the inside pockets. #1 does not do that, which explains the feebleness of its inside pockets.
In closing, I wish to express my appreciation for the high quality of your service.
Yours truly,
Don't recommend. My husbands suit has rips in the seems on the sleeves and back of the jacket
The jacket it's self no way was correct even though my measurements I put in are accurate. The jacket was 3 inches too short in length in the front and too short in arms and tight in biceps. The pants I can't even explain how poorly they were made as the seem on the buttocks appeared wrong and the pants sat below the hips and the sea
Was all wrong. For a proven fact all the groomsmen orders suits and half were messed up. That's a poor ratio in this company to have a 50% success rate. This suit is 220$ down the toilet. Will never ever recommend nor order. Once I addressed it with the company they were responsive but drug out asking for re measurements. And stating it's was my fault in poor measuring not theirs. Let me remind you this suit was not properly made with rips visibly at seems. Do not use this company unless you want to pay double. It's a joke /hassle/waste of money.
Sincerely Rebecca Hays of Wichita ks
Customer service was fantastic. However I am not sure the suit was described correctly online. It says it is a linen wool suit and I don't believe it is. Also the patter is just printed on. Now for the price I wouldn't think the checked pattern would be hand stitched but I was expecting something a little nicer.
Oh well it will work for the wedding day, hope it doesn't rip!
I ordered a royal blue jacket to wear at my stepdaughter's wedding. I've been looking for this jacket for a year and if this didn't work I was prepared to have one tailored in London. The quality, color, fit & fabric exceeded any reasonable expectation I could have. Fabulous product. I'm grateful.
The online sizing was very easy and results were amazing. They even caught a miss measurement on my end, contacted me to remeasure, which saved what could have been a huge deal. Thanks for saving the day!
Perfect craftsmanship and flawless service!
Remarkably fast turnaround time.
Great cake!
Highest quality!
Thank you so much! The suit looks amazing and I can't wait to use it for my wedding!
On another note, my brother has not received his suit. He's reached out through email but has not gotten any answers back. He may have used either "Francis Joey Gracia" or "Joey Gracia" I was hoping to see if you could help.
I ordered two brown herringbone sports coats, trimmed in leather for my daughters outdoor fall wedding. They both fit very nice and the quality was better than expected. My husband and son are going to look handsome and very dapperr at the wedding.
The 2 pair of trousers I had made, arrived in good time and were a perfect fit. Very happy with them and would definitely order again
Great coat! Easy purchase with quick delivery. No complaints at all. Quality is great thank you very much
Excellent quality of fabric and impeccable fit. Nothing to complain about.
Great experience overall but when you customize a suit you look for a perfect fit.
It fit well but it's tight and I wish I would've know or estimate for a bit more room
The pants fee & fits great. I will come back again because I am a happy customer
This was a very lovely fit but you must have exact details about your size before submitting
Good quality and the measurements was difficult for a french like me but I did it!
My sincere thanks to Pearl, Erica and Paul who all contacted me individually to ensure that they would do their best to help me resolve my situation. Not only did they resolve the situation, but they went far beyond my expectations, and combined with the exceptional DHL delivery service, I was supplied with a very well crafted shirt weeks before my event. Honestly the best online shopping experience ever.
Thank you again.
Great! Thank you! It was an easy experience from start to finish.
Answer: You cannot call these folks. They do not provide a phone number
Answer: Agreed! Please remove it. This company is a scam and is misleading people
Answer: It takes about 1 month but mostly due to shipping. I was unsure as i never ordered a suit online. From my experience it was a huge mistake. And to add insult to injury the company want more monies to fix their mistakes. My recommendation is to read reviews outside the boundaries of the company. Seems obvious but necessary
Answer: Was your suit ever delivered to you? I am interested in purchasing a suit from Studio Suits. And how long did it take?
Answer: Bad choice: They sell Donegal Tweed, but they deliver some sub-standard wool fabric. No fit, no proper construction, cannot even do a proper shoulder line. Dreadful.
