The overall reputation of the company reflects a significant divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some customers appreciate the helpfulness and professionalism of store staff, particularly in urgent situations. However, a prevailing sentiment highlights dissatisfaction with delivery reliability, order fulfillment, and customer service responsiveness. Many reviews express frustration over delayed shipments, unhelpful support, and issues with returns, leading to a perception of inadequate service. This inconsistency suggests a need for improved operational efficiency and customer communication to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Whenever I need anything for my studies, this is really and trully the one stop place to go. I get everything from my pencils to my laptop bag here!
While the tape had started coming off the lid and keys upon arrival, it wasn't until around day 12 that I started noticing problems with my new (refurbished) laptop.
Of course, since the '14 day' return policy applies to -all- laptops, I'm now out of luck (and over $400) and dealing with trying to get my less-than-month-old laptop repaired by the refurbishment company. It was supposed to be for school, but it's not much use when it needs to be sent off for repairs within two weeks of purchase.
Messaged Staples 18 days after delivery to attempt to return, keeping in mind of course that an entire week of that time the city was snowed in.
I wanted to order the brochures. Uploaded the design, glossary finish, choose "delivery" because there are free deliveries for reward members. At the check out I found out there are not any free deliveries there, I did not want to pay $9.99 for delivery, so I wanted to change this option into "store pick up" - there were no such options, I had to close out everything and start a totally new order. I have uploaded my images again, picked "store pick up" and this time it says that the glossary finish is not available for "pick up" options. Crazy. So, I don't have much choice, so I decided to go with a regular paper and a "store pick up". At the check out I found out that they don't accept gift cards online like a payment. I have already spent 2 hours on all this and still was not able to place any order.
I wanted to leave a feedback for them, but the red icon on a side of the screen was not clickable.
I have been ordering the cards and brochures at Vistaprint before and have never had any problems. At the Staples.com, spending 2 hours, I still was not able to order anything.
Never had a problem withany of their locations. Their prices are fairly competitive and their selection is as expect- reasonable.
I can always find good deals on chairs and other stuff and every time I go there they have the goods
So I am in the market for a lounge and popped in to Scott Berkowitz - they have good quality furniture, and found what I was looking for, the regular show room price was $5300 but during their sale it was only $4300 a great saving on normal price you would think. Of course like any intelligent person I looked around for the exact same piece and found it at a store on the other side of Melbourne, I asked for a quote and was amazed to be quoted $3,600!
I asked the sales person to double check and he confirmed that it was $3,600, my comment to him was that I was surprised as I was expecting the lounge to be much more, but he replied it was a fair price which they regularly sold this piece for.
So if you are looking at Berkowitz for furniture (or indeed at any retailer) my advice is search around, I am sure most of the exact same items can be sourced from alternative shops for much less, its just some places have much higher overheads with all their advertising - which you pay for!
This is a place you stop in when you need to figure out more stuff to add to your cluttered home office. I mean it starts with staples then post it notes, pencils, ink and before you know it you have gone too far.
Received great service from customer support. My manger was doug maccalalm, he was very friendly!
Thank you!
Will always go back to this place. Items can be easily found and sales clerks were always available to help
Consistently they DO have what you need... equally they are ALWAYS overpriced. The only thing I buy there is colored printer paper.
EXCEPTION: their copy centers are well run - moderate price/copy, but machines generally excellent.
WORST: the USPS counter in my Staples is terrible - stay away!
One of the best places for me to shop for supplies. Great support and prices, fast and convenient shipment every time. My sincere recommendations!
My wife and I had a beautiful experience. Well, let's say on my second visit at a second location. Granada Hills location wasn't helpful at all. I only saw two people working. One was on the phone and the other was working the register. We walked out of that location and went to the Santa Clarita location. After looking around again we were greeted by Garrett Stevens. Because of his wisdom about the printers, I bought two and with the discounts and sales we got a great deal. Five stars for Garrett and zero for Granada Hills location.
They have a good selection of all kinds of products, but they're usually out of the good tablets that everyone wants. I got an iPad cheaper at another store than Staples.
You can probably find just about anything in office supplies at Staples. I love this store but you have to no your prices. Read the weekly flyer and look for bargains. When a product goes on sale, to my knowledge, it is really on sale. If your looking for some assistance, you might be looking until the three wise men come walking down the street. On the bright side, Staples offers reward miles.
The management staff at the Clarksburg, WV store is the greatest and most professional in the business. After working with this store for 14 years. I would not purchase my computer and office supplies at any other location. They make my purchasing easy, fun, and great group of employees.
I loved them since I was in high school. I'm an absolute fan of stationery: pens, pencils, markers, folders, binders... I'm a bit of an organization freak, and I love having my projects organized. Staples has everything I need for any area of my life: personal, school, home, recipes, clothes storage, you name it. A great website: lots and lots of items plus good delivery options.
Order business cards online that came out totally wrong they could not fix them at the store as well as a stamp they miss printed twice and finally got it right
I had a couple of transactions with them but had no problems
Answer: Good service at their brick and mortar store, now good service online
