SSLs.com was recommended in a computer security forum as an example of how easy it was now to get inexpensive certificates. I tried it on that basis as I needed a commercial certificate to test SSL settings, and indeed it was easy and inexpensive with a good choice of CAs.
I had expected an email notification that my certificate was ready, but it was simple enough to refresh my account page to check the status.

Inexpensive, quick, and awesome are the three words I'd use to describe SSLs.com. I don't buy my SSL certificates from ANYONE else.
It's convenient to buy from SSLs.com and the price is good. In China, a domain SSL certificate could be much much much more expensive.
