I paid for a single phone listing and opted for a 7 Day Free Trial upgrade. The information I got was relevant, but when I cancelled the trial to be sure I wouldn't be rebilled, they started to restrict search results so that all information was no longer available. It told me I would continue to have full access through the trail period - LIES!

I paid for a reverse phone look up. They took my money. They provided zero information just a link to try to trick me out of more money. I called. They told me my credit card didn't go through. I looked up people I whose current info I had to see if ANY of SPOKEOs was current. It was NOT! I feel so deceived. I had immediately canceled the automatic re-subscribe out of habit. But now I see that the auto re-subscribe should have been a hint the site was junk. If your site is good people will re-up themselves, sites should not have to try sneak that agreement in there. Ripoff! Their information is out-of-date, incorrect, or "not available." I paid $39.95 for a year's subscription and the next day contacted them to ask for a refund because the info was so bad on every search. They explained their "no refunds" policy but did offer to give me $15 back. Don't waste your money!

--My own personal phone number is one that I gave up 15 years ago.

This site allegedly gives you the name and address of the person owning a cell number. Like most of these paid sites, it's mostly nonsense and the information is far from accurate. When you type in the number, you will get partial information until you pay a fee. There are no guarantees for accuracy and you will probably pay for information that is useless. I have found one site, and only one site, that will give you free phone numbers or reverse phone look-up. http://www.whitepages.com/
You may not always get what you need, at the same time, it's totally free.
Most of these sites that you have to pay to get phone numbers and addresses are not reliable or accurate. The site listed above and Google phone book appear to be the only reliable or semi-reliable way to get this type of information. I urge you to think twice before giving your hard earned money to these sites.
Remember, no matter what the information is that you need to get about a person, it is on the Internet somewhere for free. It's a matter of where do you go to get it?
Lastly, the most accurate information on the Internet is free information. Why? Because the places that you get free information is through government or government regulated agencies or companies. The Freedom of Information Act gives you access to anything about an individual that is available by law.

I give it two stars, not because the info and search features are substandard but because my account was closed by this company with the supposed rationale they perceive me as making hiring, etc decisions based on the info I find. (Against their corporate policy and agreement.) Huh? I wrote back and said I am simply a nosy person who wants to have bases covered and how would they determine such a thing by my account activity? Of course, I get only vague answers that tell me nothing. The closest I have come to making a decision of a similar sort is to check out men I am thinking of dating. Answer: Watch for the $20 charge at the end of the month. They say a person is out, then the charge comes a month later. Had to cancel my card and get new # to keep them out of my wallet.

Maybe they have included their support number or link? 3) Call Visa and ask them to kill the Spokeo charges to your Visa account.

They are good about sending a letter about we are sorry about not meeting your expectations. Our terms of use states we can do this blah blah blah. After I cancelled this subscription and got this in writing from David, I got a new debit card from my bank. Spokeo found the NEW CARD and charged it. I took the problem to my bank and got a credit. Be very careful of these people, watch your bank statements.
