I was having some services,and I have very limited time that I can sit on the phone and work things out,but I was really impressed with customer service rep Denver! Ran all the tests and determined needed upgraded equipment and has it on the way by tomorrow! She was very sweet and helpful! All csr could take a lesson from Denver!
Actually the worst internet provider and service I've ever had in my entire life, and I've switched in between like 5 within the past 4 years. Switches off every 2-3 minutes on my cellular device for no reason and I have to turn the wifi on and off for it to work again. I supposedly have 1000 mbps but that is a blatant lie I'd be surprised if I was even getting 400 this sh*t is slow asf. Not to mention that they always have outage issues as soon as there's a tiny gust of wind. Completely ridiculous horrible company please please please never provide them with any business or help let them and their atrocious company rot.
I sold my buisness and transferred a portion of my services to the new owner. I've call the customer service number at least 5 times and have received different information each time. They will not remove my credit card from the file and I continued to be billed even though I have requested to cancel the service (mobile). I do not recomment this company. I also do not recommnd putting a card on file for billing because they will not remove it.
I signed up for mobile services and was paying 46.65 a month using automatic payments. Last month I realized that my bill more than doubled because they shut my service off DESPITE me having autopay! It went from 46.65 to 97.65! WITH ZERO NOTICE! How is this legal? I will be looking for a new mobile provider IMMEDIATELY!
Spectrum is not reliable and their customer service is lousy. Time to look elsewhere for internet service. They dont even have a functioning web site.

I have to say that without a doubt Spectrum TV and WiFi has the worst service, quality, customer service and speed I have ever experienced. They charge $100 per month for.5GB that never worked as promised. I changed to Google which gives me a full 1gb and it's $30 less than Spectrum and the Google actually works as promised. It took me 1 full hour of my time to cancel my service with Spectrum because they would not let me go. I'm writing this to try and save you the heartache and waste of time this HORRIBLE company put me through. Also to let you know I have had this same service for 11 years - so they had a long time to make things right which they never ever cared to do.
Just found out earlier this week router will not support the speed we are supposed to have and for which we have been paying for three years. Absolutely the worst service, support and products. I switched to Google which is much faster, cheaper and good customer support. I'd go to Starbucks and use their compromised internet than ever using Spectrum again.

I am highly disappointed with the customer service provided by Spectrum Internet. It's probably the worst company I have dealt with. I lost my credit card, which I used in the Spectrum auto-pay. I did not get my replacement card, so I did not update the payment method. My auto-pay failed on 28 November, and I got an email from Spectrum on the same day. Within the next 24 hours, I made a one-time payment and settled it. I saw a $25 charge for auto-pay failure in my next bill. When I checked with customer care, I was told that this is written in the terms. I feel this is cheating. I have not seen another company doing this.
Spectrum internet in our area (Central Kentucky) has had unexpected outages at least twice a month since June 2023. It's now December. These outages happen on weekdays (how is that possible? Surely a weekend would be equally as likely. And always during work hours (again, statistics...). I call each time. The service rep can't tell me anything. I've talked to two work crews on my street (2 different times). Both refer vaguely to problems with upgrades made over the summer (prior to the unexpected outages, we were alerted that there would be scheduled outages - late afternoons or evening, for upgrades). Given this limited information (and the non-information from customer service), my conclusion is that Spectrum attempted to upgrade to provide higher speeds, but the system they installed can't actually handle the number of customers using those higher speeds. I have no idea about this technology - but the combination of weekdays and work hours leads to this guess. (and yes, I know it's a guess). But seriously - all the yabber about "upgrading systems", and then all of these breakdowns.
I work remotely from home - 40+ hours dependent on internet each week. These disruptions are having a very negative impact on my employment. I have tried to find alternate providers, but our particular neighborhood is under the feudal control of spectrum (at least for wired service). I am now looking at satellite type providers.
I am particularly frustrated with spectrum's failure to communicate. First, their failure to communicate with customers with an apology for the frequent and unexpected disruptions. And second, some kind of explanation of the problems, with indication of how much longer they expect us to live with this.
For anyone who has a choice of internet providers, I encourage you to go with anything except spectrum.
Unstable service, they never refunded for the time without service, I canceled a couple of days after due day and they charged for all month, worst service I ever have, if you like overpay and bad service they are the one.
They keep increasing your monthly bill and when you call the customer service support, they just kick you out of thier business
Spectrum is a shady operation to say the least. I called Spectrum to cancel TV Cable. I waited my turn in line for 43 minutes to speak to a representative. I was on the phone 3 1/2 hours with them. They said I had a business account and they couldn't help me. I don't have a business account. We have a residential account. Finally the 4th person said they would have a supervisor call me (at my demand). One week later no call back. They are making it impossible for us to "cut the cable". I am contacting the BBB and the Attorneys General for Washington.
I receive a text from Spectrum when my bill is "ready to be viewed." The same day, I start getting texts and phone calls from Spectrum telling me my bill is past due. I reply to the texts with, "Stop," and I block the phone calls. Neither helps. I called a rep today and was told they cannot stop these annoyances. When I move soon, I will be choosing another cable company.
Called Spectrum to see what kind of deal I could get on cable TV. Offered me a introductory offer on Cable, internet, land line and cell phone for $83.00 a month. Was told that the Cable did come with the local channels. Get the self install kit, hooked it all up and there were no local channels! Called them up and asked where are the local channels and they said the package I ordered DOES NOT come with locals! Told them about the guy that I talked to said that there WERE locals with this package and the woman on the phone basically said that I'm a lier! She said that I could get locals with a "pick 15" plan that I had to pick 15 Cable channels, but it was 10 bucks a month more! So she emailed me a list of channels to pick from. I called them back and spoke to a guy this time, told him I chose 15 channels and wanted him to hook them up for me, gave him my 15 channels and mentioned the locals also, in which he replied- you can't get locals with the pick 15, but could with a pick 30 package! And these upgrades would have been $140.00 a month! Now I'm pissed! I told him to come and get there equipment! He says "But you haven't even been with us for 24 hours yet!" So he transferred me to a "retention department" and I told her what happened and that I have smoke rolling out of my ears I'm so pissed off! She tried to get me to take the 140 a month package, and this time I yelled at her saying that if you don't come and get your equipment I'm going to throw it out of my front door! She said that she would send a box to put it in and to drop it off at a place that ships UPS. Then I told her that I want a full refund of 130 bucks, in which she said that I have to pay 40 bucks for the activation! That's when I started screaming at the woman! She finally said that I will get a complete refund within 3 to 5 working days! That BETTER happen or one of there reps will be seen in small claims court!
Awesome service. I had internal work done which included painting. The cable in my room wasn't working and I was busy and didn't have time to call. They called me and said they would like to schedule a maintenance visit. I said "ok" and I then can ask about my problem. The maintenance visit was for my problem! Paint on part of the cable connection. They noticed the problem others caused with their observation of my service. Incredible internet service and AWESOME customer service.

Spectrum will not honor Financed phone payment if you fall 2 months behind on your normal service bill; Money in hand to catch up on past due amount and they wanted $1300 to restore service (Past due bill was $176; rest was financed phone) I will also be cancelling my internet service with them as well!

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
