I must say overall I was better off going elsewhere, I went to soon Bello in Tacoma WA. 3 months ago, they ensure me I wouldn't feel any pain during the procedure it was very painful my body didn't take to the medicine, and they didn't have a plan B to make me feel comfortable, the doctor told me they can stop during the procedure, also when I had to urine my side nurse didn't follow procedure, she told me to just pee on myself! I was cold and felt disgusting lying in my pee and just felt miss lead and I'm not satisfied with my results please ask a lot of questions, especially about the numbing medicine it's not for everyone!

Very disappointed I reached out called and filled out the pre form I have not heard anything back yet.

I would give zero stars if I could.

I am 50. I had the tri-sculpt procedure performed at the Charlotte office by Dr. Vega about 1.5 years ago. I was very excited about my "day of transformation" as the consultant called it but that quickly faded.

I was never measured pre-surgery for my initial post-surgery binder. As I was coming out of the procedure and the nurses were wrapping me in the binder they asked if it was too tight. I said I wasn't sure then they asked me if I could breathe and I said yes.

A couple of days later I noticed a "ridge" forming where the binder was wrapped to my skin. I texted/called and was told to put a light cotton tank on. This did not resolve the issue. I called a couple of days later and spoke to the then practice manager and she suggested massaging it and getting lymphatic drainage massages.

Neither worked, and in fact the massage therapist was concerned that this "ridge" was perhaps fluid that needed to be drained. I made an appointment with Dr. Vega to see if that was the case, but no, it was not fluid. The "ridge" was permanent. It was suggested at that time I get an "ab board" to help shape my muscles while they continued to heal.
That didn't work either.
At my final check in I expressed my concerns yet again about my misshapen abdomen. I was told that's just my body/shape. I told them although I had a belly pre-surgery it did not have ridges.

So I am disfigured and am going to research if I have any ability to file suit.

Separately from how unhappy I am with my results, the general impression I got after my first few visits was "unprofessional". I had to wait 20-30 minutes after arriving on time and while the staff was friendly enough, they should note a patient can hear everything while waiting in the patient room to be seen. I heard Dr. Vega hollering down the hallway to a nurse and actually heard another doctor discussing how he had picked someone up at the bar the night before. Also, not very clean. I would expect more sterile conditions but in the exam rooms you can see hair and other debris that looks like it's been there before.

Do yourself a favor, do not believe the hype and find a local board-certified surgeon that does not have to advertise - it's a racket.
I wish I had but their marketing is pretty compelling.

With all the bad reviews I'm reading, I'm wondering why this company is still in business? I'm thankful for these reviews, but sorry for those who've had to go through such horrible experiences. I see good reviews, but those are outweighed by the bad.

I paid 8,000 for my stomach to be snatch as my dr said he will do. When it was done I was left with uneven side the middle of my stomach bumpy.I can't believe I paid 8,000 to get a botched stomach. I cry even time I look at the mirror. The dr told me after he did my surgery I need a tummy tuck to even me out. I don't have money for I saved the 8,000 for years so I can feel better about my self. Don't get it done. I have yet not heard from anyone to call about this, I teach out 3 times about this.

On 1/23/2022, I reached out to Sono Bello to have a cosmetic procedure done. I talked to Carrie Coker, a consultant at Sono Bello. When I completed the paperwork, Ms. Coker assigned a NON-BOARD Certified Plastic Surgeon (meaning that the doctor is not listed on abplasticsurgery.org) to perform a mini tummy tuck and smart lipo, although this doctor is certified as a Head and Neck Surgeon. I requested a plastic surgeon to perform my procedure. Ms. Coker admantly resisted my request and became combative and I have not discovered why she did, and it is because THIS COMPANY IS LYING WHEN THEY STATE THEY HAVE HIGHLY BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEONS. These doctors are usually certified in another area, or they are certified as a medical professional, and then via years of experience start performing cosmetic surgery, and they self proclaim themselves as PLASTIC SURGEONS, when they are not and this deceives customers like me to purchase their service thinking they would get a plastic surgeon to perform their surgery when in actuality, the doctors are not plastic surgeons. This company sites lists all over their website that they have hundreds of board certified plastic surgeons and they have failed to produce 1 to me,despite my repeated requests for a plastic surgeon. They continue to assign doctors who are not certified by American Board of Plastic Surgery, and thus their advertising is misleading and fraudulent, and the staff encourages this deceit among customers.

Don't do it, find a REAL Plastic Surgeon! They rush you to pay because you will never receive all your funds back once received. I came in spoke with Elizabeth she even showed the results of her procedure. I advise her this is exactly what I'm trying to achieve. She a sure me Dr Crawford was the Dr who had did her procedure and he would also be the one to complete mines. Fast forward a LONG story. A year, later 6K later and millions of phones calls later my stomach looks no different than the day I walked into this office other than a scare. I was told if I was unhappy, they would redo it with no problem, after a consultation I was told it would be an additional 1000.00 because they are now doing a new procedure. They are full of it's nothing but a scam to keep you coming back and taking your money. Oh and by the way Dr. Crawford is no longer there go figure.

I dont recomend sonobello! I was looking for a liposuction.based on the high price i thought they going to do a great job! The stuff its really nice.but the dr is so rude and unprofessional... I endup back in CT with a different DR. the DR in CT saw his job and told me that was a terrible job i got in SONOBELLO. Which i ended up spending $3.000 to get that bad job they did...so my review is - 0 for SONNOBELLO if are looking for a good results thats no the place to go! Again the ladies that work at desk are 10... very polite but the DR - 0 Marcelo azevedo!dont waist your dollar on this place...

I felt rushed on the operating table. Not enough time to actually do their job. It was literally an hour! For anyone who wants this. I recommend no! My check ups were horrible! I felt he didn't know what to do,

I went in for my 7 month check up and they needed insurance cards etc.
Let me know otherwise!

I had laser lipo on three areas about three years ago-Garfield Heights Oh location-Rocky was very good at selling the process-said they could eliminate my concerns and that they wouldn't come back stupid me….not to mention I got sooo sick and the pain was awful. The fat did come back-looks like my skin is wavy -I followed all instructions-wore the compression garments-even longer than they said I had to.in fact -just go buy yourself compressions garments and you will feel great while wearing and save yourself THOUsANDS of dollars. BIG letdown and quite frankly left me very depressed-and yes I exercise five days a week.

I had my surgery done on 1/28/2022, this has been the worst experience of my life. I have been suffering from cellulitis of the abdomen. My stomach became so swollen until it became just an opened area. I am now having to go under surgery to have the infected area debrided and my navel area recreated again. I paid "Sono Bello", $16,000.00 to perform what I thought would be a life changing milestone for me, but this has turned into a horror story. I can't sue because it can be fixed, and they are not willing to fix the problem. My surgery was done by Dr. Dawson, he was prescribing me medicine for MRSA, something I did not have. I had to go to the ER to be diagnosed with cellulitis of the abdomen. Thank God, for those Dr.'s because I was on antibiotics for 9 months without even being swab for the infections. Dr. Dawson just kept prescribing me the same medicines over and over without a care in the world.

I feel like I was pampered by all the nurses and female doctor. I had an amazing visit. Everyone was super nice and made me feel comfortable and great conversation that helped me with my severe anxiety. They cared about their clients and their passion to perfect their work. I would recommend this to others.

I was able to work with Theresa and got my money back after deciding not to go with the surgery. Theresa is a professional manager that is able to listen and communicate properly. Thanks.

I went to the sonobello in Bellaire. I was comfortable from the time I walked in. Lisa and Tish were my nurses and they explained everything in full. Dr. Stapenhorst came in before the prcedures and went over everything he would be doing. Don and Dr. Stapenhorst were in the procedure room. Don was fantastic in assuring I was comfortable. They both carried on convesrations with me and keep the moral really high sprited. I would highly recommend them for professiionalism and friendness.

I'm 63 years old. I debated on having the surgery. I read the reviews (some not so good) But I went with my gut feeling. So, I contacted Sono Bello for a consultation. I had already done my homework and was ready for a sales pitch. I met Mary, she gave me alot of information about the procedures and ask me alot of questions about what I wanted. This is about sales too, but you have to know what you want and be realistic. I paid for surgery in full and selected my Dr. for my procedure Laser Lipo.

Dr. Skytta in the Cincinnati, OH Sono bello office is the best. She explained everything. She understood a woman's body and how you want to look. She asked me alot of questions. I had my upper abs, lower abs, inner thighs, flanks, bra roll, hips and waistline done. The nurses and staff were just great. The first procedure was for my abs, lower abs and bra roll. I had to wear the garment (faja) home. Make sure you follow the directions and drink a gallon of water a day and take it easy the first few days. You will have some swelling and some pain.

My 2nd procedure was 6 weeks later for my inner thighs, outer thighs, hips and flanks. Both procedures went great. I changed my eating habits and drunk a gallon of water a day. There will be some swelling. Extras: You do have to purchase a smaller garment (faja) and an ab board (the soft ones like a sponge) I went from an x-large to a small garment.
I'm not perfect but I couldn't be happier. I got my body back and my blood pressure went down. Overall, I have lost 32 pounds. 19 pounds after the procedures. I can see my results...

I paid 8K for my belly and waist to be done. I am 10 weeks out and don't look great. I followed all the directions perfectly. My weight is the same. My clothes fit the same. I have no idea who gets these great results out there, because I was told I was the idea candidate and I look exactly the same as before, except that my belly area is wrinkly and looks pretty bumpy. I cannot wear a tight shirt without a shaper under. I can't really wear much without the shaper, to be honest. Not at all worth the money. Go to a plastic surgeon office, not this chain.

I'd give it a 0 if I could - Dr. Alter is the most condescending, rude, egotistical doctor I've ever come across. The rest of the facility and staff seem great but this doctor ruined the entire experience and if a doctor like him is allowed to work there I cannot recommend them. Everyone else was nice and professional but I've never left an appointment feeling more attacked and demeaned and disrespected. First he didn't introduce himself when he entered the room and became huffy and acted impatient upon reviewing my chart. He was snappy when asking questions and none of my responses seemed sufficient to him. That's definitely not going to put anyone at ease. Then he has the gall to say that I'm seeming very anxious and fidgety. Well of course I am. I'm tired after very little sleep because I was super excited about my pre-op, had a good bit of caffeine in my system so I was awake to make the almost 2 hour drive to see this doctor, I'm sitting there half naked in skippy underwear the office provided and hospital gown, and I'm feeling attacked because I have to take medications for sleep, anxiety, and ADHD. Yes, there's a good chance I might be a tad nervous and - god forbid - fidgety. So when I try to call him out for his antagonist - and rather abrasive - attitude towards me he yells "I'm ABRASIVE?!" Yes doc, I spoke clearly. Then you accuse me of calling him abrasive because he doesn't think I can tolerate the procedure. Not even close dude. I am thankful that a doctor tells me that they don't think I can tolerate an awake procedure. I appreciate that. I don't appreciate being made to feel like something is wrong with me and attacked. There's no reason to be a jerk. I have never been made to feel so low about myself in my adult life.
This man does not need to treat patients and for the sake of the practice, Sono Bello needs to get rid of him. Unfortunately I know nothing will come of it and his ego will continue to be stroked.
Go somewhere else or at least make sure that you do not have Dr. Alter.

The gal who I initially met with, (her job is to sell you) went so hard, she didn't have to, I wanted the procedure. After it was done I discovered they didn't even do my back. It was then they told me they only remove a certain amount. I expressed had I known that I would have scheduled different times for the procedure. So I ended up with only the front half of my abdominal area done and not anything in my back. They would not reschedule me or even acknowledge they they didn't do a whole procedure on me.
