I purchased a dress through Pinterest to a company called Sogown last year. This company is listed under Hymax Company Limited 344-354 Gray's Inn Road, London, Greater London, England, WC1X 8BP
When I received the dress, to my surprise it was totally different from the picture, the material, the color and the look. As soon as I tried the dress, it was very heavy so I put it back in the packaging and sent an email to *******@gown.clothing.
I exchanged over 36 emails with Sharon from Sogonws.com. In 2 emails, I mentioned the Sogown return policy, 15 out of the 36 emails, I asked for the return address in China. About 6 emails received from Sharon were about the high postage cost for sending the dress to China with no guarantee.
Find a list of excuses, I received from the Sharon
"Is any possible that can you keep it? I will apply for some compensation for you"
"As you have to return it to China, would you be able to send it back to China?"
"Since our return address is China, delivery takes a long time and costs a lot of postage"
"There is also a high risk of losing and damaging the package"
"The material has cost us over 70%, there is only 30% left, and we still need to pay for the labor"
"I will have to refund you more money from my own pocket"
"All our returned garments are destroyed by our factory"

I am very disappointed that Pinterest is dealing with a company that is running a scam.

What they sown on the website verses what I received was not the same dress. The color and lace is different. The size does not fit. The costumer service is very poor. They take about 45 days or more to deliver. They don't have any tracking number. And you never have you money back, they don't accept a return

I unfortunately ordered a gown from this company and right after read all of the horrible reviews, so attempted to cancel within hours after placing order. They told me they would only refund 80 percent, even though there was no way the order could have even begun to have been processed. It's been over 2 months and I'm still waiting. I've emailed them repeatedly, and nothing! Do nor order from these foreign scam companies.? I've learned my lesson. Rip off!

I just received the dress I ordered for my sons wedding. The dress appears to be correct style and color. Unfortunately the sizing is incorrect. Based on their measurements for US 14, it is incorrect. The dress does not measure to their size chart. So far they have asked to see pictures of the dress. I'm not sure how they can detect the measurements from a picture. I am now sorry that I did not see the reviews as I am now afraid this will not work out and I'll be out the $$ I paid.

I place an order with Sogown at the end of February 26 2021. Sogown drafted the money out of my bank account on 3/1/21 for my order. After I placed my order I received an email stating that my order would arrive between 16 and 21 days. Today is 3/31/21, I have not received my order as of yet and can not get in contact with anyone because Sogown only accepts emails and apparently the DO NOT look at those as I have emailed them several times with NO RESPONSE. My sons wedding is April 17 2021 (right around the corner) which is a special day for him and myself. And I have not outfit... I will never order another thing from this company And suggest that you dont either. Signed A MAD MOTHER.

I purchased a pantsuit for my son's wedding. It was sewn poorly, looked nothing like the picture, and the fit was horrible. It reminded me of something a first time sewer would make. I had to quickly order from somewhere else. They didn't let me return the pantsuit. I am out $200. I wouldn't ever use this company again

They have a refund return policy but do not refund! I have been trying to return a dress for a month delayed with emails back for pictures, for me to have it altered they are not a legit company and I will never see my money back it unfortunate they are allowed to advertise on social media and to mislead that they take returns and refunds. Horrible company would never recommend to anyone, so much for saying you accept returns!

What I seen on the website verses what I received was definitely NOT the same dress. The dress I ordered was a bright, royal blue dress when I received the dress it was No where near the same color. It was a dusty, dingy blue with cheap material and had grease stains all over. The only way to contact them is email which they Don't respond back. Also, when trying to write a review on Yelp none of there info shows up not even the name "So Gowns" everything about this website says fraud, scammers, and imposters STAY AWAY

This company is a sham! Their refund/ exchange policy is a farce and a lie! They request photos of proof if you have to return or exchange; they want you to have it altered at your expense; your only contact with them is through email; they give all kinds of excuses from "getting lost in the mail" to being "too expensive" to return. I am still waiting on a response from "Sharon" on how to return a dress. My first email to her was August 26,2020 and it is now November 27,2020 and I'm still waiting to resolve my return order. Again, DO Not order from this company!

Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Product did not look like it did in the picture. Pant suit is cheap made, no tags on the clothing, appeared to have already been worn. Turned wrong side out when I opened the package, some items not sewed on clothes that was suppose to be and it was too small. Instead of size 10 it is probably a six. I paid extra for this to be delivered in 5 days. I will be filing a complaint with the Better business Bureau.
My last comment is DO NOT ORDER FROM SOGOWNS, I agree with everyone it is a SCAM. I received the same emails from Sharon also and now no response from her.
