Which, to my great surprise, turned out to be legit. Women don't chat 24/7 there, they easily switch to free messengers after you request their contact details. As a result I had my 1st real meeting there within 2 weeks of joining.
So I want to warn everyone off Sofiadate. I got off cheap, but I know many men are wasting thousands of bucks on these scammers because they fell for this beautiful fake illusion.

Don't use this site it's all about wanting your money been talking to someone for ages,and decided to check her out using a different name she replied in seconds and sent a few messages to me and not realising to make things worse she was talking to me at same time so be aware

No video chat, no profile verification, over $1,000 dollars to get someone's contact, among other rules. Also, these girls are hustling. They want you to spend as much on them as possible. I spent just enough to find this out, but I am leaving to ukrainedate and Elena's models. There is a reason why Sofia Date is ranked 94th. But if you are cool spending money just to chat, then go ahead.

There are at least 3 sites I have encountered I am sure there are more out there. Sofiadate and loveforheart plus another that is myspecialdates. All are nearly identical. On each of them the woman tells the same lies. Almost like they are given training or a manual or something. I have given up on paying them anymore. I don't know exactly what I have paid for chat but it is a lot. I even had one girl suggest I create a new profile when I was broke...There are promotions you can get etc...I have a sour taste in my mouth. Don't give them your money!

100s of supermodel level "women" with professional studio photos who bombard you with generic template messages. The "credit" system is an utter drain. I tested this out for the last 2 weeks to see how legit it is. 4 "women" engaged. When prompted to offer proof they are real, (real time photos with something requested to prove it is a NOW photo), excuses are given, nonsense. They will simply keep you typing, clicking on generic videos and pictures, and letters, all of which cost credits. It's all complete bull$#*!.

You will spend hundreds of dollars to spin your wheels and go nowhere. Please learn from my experience. This website is a total and complete sham that preys upon lonely men. Do not fall for this crap. And go ahead "Sofiadate Rep", respond to this with some generic PR reply that tries to discredit me.

This site is a complete Scam! The women on here are real - but they are compensated by the site. The site acknowledges under their FAQs that the ladies are on the site free-of-charge - - - as long as they meet certain requirements. Those requirements are intentionally vague - but the women are incented to drive up the costs for the men through videos and letters (instead of the 2 credits per minute "chat" fee). To request a woman's personal contact information, you must spend thousands of dollars in "credits" (that is not an exaggeration) to get to the required 5,000 credit minimum. THEN you will be required to complete a form with all of your personal information AND send a copy of your ID or Passport. They call the form an IMBRA Verification and tell you it is legally required - but it is neither. An IMBRA Form is used by the US to grant VISAs - this is a dating site and is not authorized to receive nor process Visa Forms. Scam site - without question!

You are obligated to their exploitation:
"Making a contact request costs 500 Credits. If a lady declines your contact request, 500 credits will be returned back to your account.
The option will be available after you have been continuously communicating with a lady for at least 15 days, with a break no longer than 72 hours and 5,000 Credits spent on that lady, but only for chats, e-mails, and media content.
This is a common rule for a contact request, and it is specified in Paragraph 5.2 "Terms and Conditions".

"5.2. The user is not allowed to include contact data in fields or texts that are not explicitly intended for it. You can't openly communicate, your money goes in fumes, no guarantee to meet a real person. Go to Eastern Europe, and meet in person.

They will keep you engaged for days. They probably get paid from the credits that we use to communicate. Dont waste your money. It wont get you anywhere. They are bunch of scammers. Dont feel sorry for the Ukrainian profiles as they are under attack. Nothing will come out of the profiles, as they are probably not real people. Its a fraud.

Want to be talked too by 100s of fake girls with glamour shots that make you pay $5-$15 per picture and video plus $3/minute to chat.
Still not convinced they are fake? Ask them to send you a video saying your name. 100% of them will not be able to do this but can send you generic videos over and over to have you buy.

I have been on Sophiadate since October of last year... I was initially excited to meet so many good-looking women; which should have been my first clue as to something amiss. The women will never come to you! And even after you request their information, they will hide their full name, or get you to go to another site. I spent more than $20,000 and I am still alone! About a third of the profiles are fake. I know this because I found the true owners of said profiles on other sites. The people at Sophiadate, will wait until after the allotted times they dictate to give out the information of the girls. So that you will be forced to continue paying... They will nitpick over details or tell you that the questionaires were filled out incorrectly ad nauseum. There is no recourse to these people. If you know of a lawyer or someone to leverage these $#*!s then by all means sue these $#*!es!

Using the site for a while, and I like that it's simple for seniors like me. I registered quickly and they sent me nice senior ladies. But I think there are more young beauties, which I don't like

If you want to throw your money away and get nothing but BS this is a sight for you. I've never gone on this or any of these sites. I went on this one and the one girl that I chose. It was great for a while then it suddenly falls apart on her end, for no reason when you run out of money, it's a never ending ring of BS. Specifically, it's not a normal relationship I don't know what this thing is but there are better sites out there that are real. The representatives respond to these negative reviews. This website is set for failure because you never get to talk one on one to the person and that should be the biggest red flag of all.

I intend to report this to various cybersecurity teams in the US, including the Federal Bureau.

One of these female 'friends' convinced my 80-year-old father that she is a millionaire from Dubai, ready to marry him. All he needed to do, she said, was continue paying her so she could arrange for a private plane to pick him up.

This site is chat bots and paid women to talk to you and keep you buying credits. You can't exchange information until you request it only after you spend 5000 credits on that girl within 15 days and no longer that 72 hour lapse in communication. Stay away from this site!

It seems to be a reasonable site but expensive. All ladies seem to be really good looking.
Not really sure if all photos genuine

First of all the money they charge just to chat is ridiculous. All of the girls are from the Ukraine which is cool but there is no way of knowing who you're actually talking to. The girls beg you to keep talking which means spending more and more money. I know it's a business but they are preying on people. I spent several nights chatting but in the it was too much money with no real payoff. I guess if you have the money and the resources and you can actually verify they are real then some of them will be happy to go through the process to come over here and marry you but get ready for a very long process.

My dad has dementia and despite asking the site manager repeatedly to cancel his account they have refused.
Before we were able to be granted a power of attorney he has run up £15,000 worth of debt. He's been promised on 20 occasions that this woman will be coming to the UK and 20 times she's never arrived.
He's now addicted to contacting her because of his mental state but the site refuse to delete his account. Absolutely shameful. I welcome a reply from the administrator from the site to reply but they hide behind their terms and conditions. Pitiful.
