To be honest this site has a lot of fake profiles you can tell they are guys pretending to be females or chat bots because the answers given are way off the questions asked. Or the speak in 3rd person. You will experience a lot of women talking to you or whoever is behind the profiles but beware it costs a lot to read letters, check pictures,send pictures and even messages, the girls are always trying to get you to open letters that cost $10 each to read, $50 a video, $10 a picture and it can add up quickly. You can not give or receive users information to be able to talk off the platform if you try to give your phone number or email in a message or letter they block it, if you try being sneaky and making videos or sending pictures of each letter or number to give a female they monitor your messages and will take all your credits for trying to give your information to a female. They will Everytime, I've had $200 in credit taken from me several times and the customer service is the worst ever, you can not call, you can not chat only email but out of the 25 emails I have sent I have not received 1 single reply from them. It's an all out scam site, you don't know who you are really talking to and like I said I've caught fake profile users that slip up and somehow revealed they were guys pretending to be ladies,or chat bots that just answered your question way wrong. There may be a couple real woman but it's impossible to find out because you can't get their numbers or emails or even video chats,btw some of the profile pictures are just way to model type or outrageously to good looking to be real. The last thing I will say is you know it's a fake scam site when 80% of users ask you to send money and I don't mean 100 or 200 they go for gold and want 2000-5000 dollars, and they use the words "I love you" way to loosely. Beware is all I can say I was on this site for about 5 months doing my investigation for my review

You sign up to this website and they give you some free credits all that get used by the robots or AI running the site. The women (bots) are all fake and you will get no contact details from them. Sending your details to them is absolutely pointless as they will never respond favourably. Same old rubbish, just there to part you from your money. Whatever you do you'll get nowhere. If there was a facility to rate them less than zero, I would do so it's that bad. The only good thing is the functionality of the website. Sorry from that I just wouldn't bother. The women are all fake.

This site has real people, but they may not be the ones in the pictures. With the option of reverse lookups of the pictures, you can see that the girls are on numerous sites and on for multiple hours a day so while they may be real they may be falsely administering numerous profiles.
My profile has no information and my age is set to 96 years old and I still get girls messaging asking dumb questions. Costs are stupidly high working out at around $5 to read and reply to a letter.
This site is manned by people uninterested in making legitimate contact with potential special other and is solely manned by people making YOU pay for their rent and food.

This site sucks big time. They charge way too much. I did meet a lady and Sofia site wanted more money for me continue speaking with her. Site continually fleeces you for credits to initiate a conversation, directs you to send or receive "a letter" which of course are more credits. Ultimately the party on the other end will never be reached because eventually you will come to conclusion that you have been duped and stop buying credits

I'm now on my sixth attempt to have my account deleted and they still won't do it. I will echo everything everyone else has said. It's all about pumping more money into the interactions. And EVEN if you meet the requisite time and money requirements they want you to fill out a very lengthy, very personal application. I'm embarrassed I was so duped. This site should be shut down.

In the end i put myself down as an 81 year old male and still i was getting messages sometimes 20 a day from miss world types or females 1/4 of my age, sometimes more then 1 message just incase i forgot to reply to them, i never even had a photo up yet still my message bin over flowed, In my profile description i did this as if it had been blocked out ***** ************ thats what the so called beautys told me, so i could not leave outside the site contact details, only god knows who i was talking with and i dont think i want to know now, they stop you from leaving by comandering the leave site and close your profile button, you have to beg to get off site but i left there support man/woman with no other option, i told the support scammer what i think of there site with a few strong words, **** off, **** you ******* scammers you can fill in the blanks yourself, i wish i had read the reviews/complaints first. The positive reviews will be from the very same scammers who will try and help you unload your wallet, once on there it gets more obvious, it gets more intence, at least $#*! I've been using Sofia for a while now and have chatted with a couple of girls who seem nice, so there's that. But honestly, it feels like a lot of effort for not much progress. Some matches don't even reply, and when they do, the conversations fizzle out quickly.

Two stars because I met a few decent people, but overall, it's just meh.

I'd say the site is okay, but my experience wasn't the best. Some of the texts I got were super inappropriate, which was really off-putting. I get that it's more about the men on the site than the platform itself, but it'd be nice if the support team took these issues more seriously. A little more effort in handling reports would go a long way

I'd say Sofiadate was okay at best. Well, need to say I expected a bit more from it. There are pretty good men, and it's easy to navigate, but the experience itself didn't really match up to the hype. I had a few decent chats, but most conversations didn't go anywhere. It felt like men were either too casual or too uninterested in a real connection. Also, some profiles felt a little "too good to be true," if you know what I mean. Not the worst, but definitely not the best dating site I've tried.

I should have just used this service again this time, but I was lured into Sofia date scam by an ad showing a very pretty girl - how stupid of me! Don't believe these ads and don't get engaged with this scam site, fellows! It's set up to rob western men. They steal photos from social media. These photos are used by other people to make money by chatting with foreigners. No date, no offline meeting ever takes place on Sofiadate.

For months I was talking to a lady. Got to the 5000 credit mark, filled out the IMBRA FORM, got that approved. Paid the 500 credit for her contact info. I received an email, that apparently the user doesn't use much. We got to finally talk on Telegram for a few days. Then she went dark. Tried go back into my Sophia account, and ALL my profile was blank. My remaining credits vanished. All my conversations and messages gone. Yet, I found that lady, sent her a message on chat, she had NO CLUE who I was, am. Like she had amnesia. I knew right there, this whole Sophia Date was a complete scam. Wasted thousand dollars all for what, nothing. SOPHIA DATE SHOULD BE SUED OVER FRAD AND RICO. Conclusion, Nothing about this is real, girls are fake, profiles are fake. Would love to get all my money back.

Sorry folks, but I think the site is 100% a scam not to mention the professionalism is brutal. I actually had an the help support team laughing at me writing lol which I will provide in screenshots at the end of this came onto the site and wanting to meet someone and I met someone and I talked for two days with this lady and we want to exchange numbers so we tried to and it wouldn't work so we tried to exchange emails and it wouldn't work so I contacted support and they told me that I needed to wait 15 days and spend 5000 credits which works out to be about 895 bucks or 795 bucks so I can exchange number these guys these guys coming and going fine print. This is a hoax. This is scam that is the girl actually even started saying at the end she even knew the rules more than me. It sounded like she's a fabrication didn't even sound like she was real, I think there's just two boys sitting in the living room up with this website and sit there and talk to people all day every day to make their money is not true if there's anybody out there that actually has met someone that actually talk to you on the screen that knows that this is not real. Please inform me spread the word. I'm gonna blow it up more, feel really disappointed really heartbroken. I didn't spend much money but it doesn't matter. It's not the money. It's the reason on this website is to fall in love and find that one and then you think you do and it's thick the rug is pulled from your feet rewrite.

Big scam. You get many matches instantly and the ladies are fighting for your attention regardless of who you are. They send you plenty of messages asking questions hoping you will buy credits to reply to them.

I would be very surprised to hear of anyone ever meeting someone off of this site. Highly monitored, they filtered names of people I wasn't even trying to have her communicate with in her home country. Just from general conversation. It makes conversation impossible. If these women are not getting a slice of the pie I would be at a loss for words.

I was talking with 4 different women and over a month the questions and response became the same. Each said they have a way off the site. Answer questions in a letter and site manager would approve the release of their email. I did it with two other women all different phrases but the same question. Never got any information.

Sofia date is a scam across the board. The women send you pictures and videos copied from the web. Just take a screenshot and paste it in Google search it will come from a different girl, not your girl you been talking with. They just hide the face so you would not know.
