Horrible app. Insecure data privacy issues, no checks, they look and read through your stuff and delete what they have decided is not right.

I love the hell out of Snapchat! Their are so many different options to choose from on how to interact with your friends and each option is fun. You can take and send pics from that exact moment or go back into your memories and use one of them, you can make and send video clips (my fav option), you can do voiceclips and of course all the fun filters also the cute games that you can play with your friends. Snapchat is most definitely the app to have!
The one and only thing that really bothers me is that I tend to forget who people are on my friends list.
I think Snapchat needs to come up with a better way to be able to always easily identify who the Snapchatter is.
This is also a great app to talk and get to know someone you may have just met without having to give out your phone number. When I meet someone new I usually ask them fairly quickly if they have a snapchat so that we can talk there. I can't remember even when the last time was that I've given my phone number to someone due to having Snapchat which is an awesome thing in case for whatever reason things go south with a person you can just delete them and not have to worry about or deal with someone possibly harassing you. Whereas if they have your phone number is being so bad that you have to change your number, which has happened to me in the past. Having Snapchat saves you from all of that.
I can't say enough great things about Snapchat! If you don't have it, get it! You'll have a complete blast.

I really love Snapchat. Especially the filters they make my skin look so good. I like how I can see people's stories or skip them if I want. It loads really quick. And I like how I can save my pictures. I also like how you can create your own bitmoji and you can make it look just like you! It helps out a lot if I'm being honest. If you have two friends that have the same name but you don't know which one you're adding yet the bitmoji can help with that. Also it's super easy to add people on it.

I recently unistalled SnapChat because it was taking up too much space on my phone. It was taking up close to 380 MB. It was literally the application taking up the most room, with FB Messenger being the close second.
I rarely used the app anyways because I have no data on my cellphone, it's not in my contract. So I could only use it if there was wifi and where I live there is a monopoly on public Wifi with a cell company that is not mine.

Tl/dr Takes up too much space, useless if you don't have data.

I purchased a $5 geofence frame for a huge party, and they sent me emails that it was going to be working, and then another one the day of the party that it was in force. No one could get it to work. There were 40 of us in costumes having a great time, and not one of us could get it to come up on the Shapchat app. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried 4 different avenues to contact them to get my money back since Feb. 10 and NO ONE HAS RESPONDED. The phone customer service is an announcement to go to their useless website and read the FAQ page. RIP OFF!

The new snapchat update is so stupid, overwhelming, and confusing. Not to be so negative but this new update sucks and lots of people are complaining about it. I know the snapchat authorities were only trying to make it better, but ya'll messed up this time. I liked having my stories and my best friends/streaks separate instead of together. I did not have my updates on automatic but for some reason my snapchat still updated. I still know of some people that have not yet been effected by the update, lucky! All in all snapchat is my go to app. I'm on it more than any other social media app and I just love it but this new update, I don't love it. I tried to fix the problem by deleting snapchat and re-downloading it and it did go back to the old snapchat but as soon as I cleared the app off my phone and got back on it, it went back to the new update. So please snapchat, bring the old update back!
