I ordered food. It was stolen by the courier. When I told skip this they said it was out if their control and it was my problem. Refused to even help me or give me my money back. They are scammers who not only steal money but your good too. They need to be shut down.
What happened to restaurants having their own delivery drivers? I don't pay for ripoff sites like Skip the Dishes, because that's what they are. Ripoff, and I respect my cash. I order it through the telephone (Remember the telephone, kids?) and pickup myself. Ya, I do stuff myself, kids. And I put the 60 bucks in my pocket. That's why I own a house and you kids are living in your parents basement.
It was my first and last time order food from skipthedishes. I ordered from a restaurant which was 5 mins drive from my house and it says max delivery time 33 minutes. 5 mins after i ordered the app tracker says someone is on the way to pickup my order and it takes for ever to receive it. After i complained and chat the support team they send me the food more than an hour of my order. No credit back the money just a simple sorry word. Never will order from their website. It seems that their app has a glitch since nobody knows where was the bottleneck? Restaurant, driver or the app
I've had so many awful experiences with skip the dishes. They point blame of their actions to the restaurants and are ignorant to their customers. Worst food delivery company out there
Depending on the person delivering my order, they either get my address right on the first try, or they get it horribly wrong! I wrote clear delivery instructions to make finding my apartment fool-proof, since there are two identical buildings side by side, but some of these delivery people obviously don't read it as it's becoming a regular thing now for me to hunt them down. I think I'll order pick up from now on. It's not worth the hassle.
I order mcdonalds from skip the dishes for my kids multiple times a month. Occasionally an item is missing and since I paid for it I ask for a refund. It has never happened twice consecutively or even been excessive in my opinion. Apparently I did that too much so they flagged my account and banned me which is petty since the refunds were typically for an item worth less than $3. I was very confused since I had ordered twice since I last requested a refund with no problems. There is also no way to see any record of any refund you request or if there is its hidden. And I would say I requested less than 5 refunds total. The thing that I am the most annoyed about is that they did not tell me that I can no longer order and I spent almost 3 hours this evening either checking to see why payment would not go through or speaking with multiple representatives before finding out I am no longer welcome as a customer. They also said that I have multiple accounts under my main profile (see screenshot) which makes no sense and is not true. I only have one account that I use on the app on my phone. If you're going to ban someone you should at least save them a massive headache and TELL them. Don't even get me started on them saying they are "sad to see you go" as though you are voluntarily no longer a customer. They also acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when I requested to close my account. I went through 2 separate representatives and had to send them a screenshot of their own terms of service before they agreed to close my account. Just awful customer service.
Came to drop my slurpees off and threw the slurpees on the front deck, and then said nothing and ran away. Also throwing one of the cups into the yard trying to hide it!
I ordered three sandwiches from subway via skip the dishes today. One sandwich is a foot-long when it came it was correct. Another sandwich was a 6 inch it was supposed to be whole wheat bun process cheese cucumber lettuce mayo salt and pepper, however, no banana peppers. Yet there was banana peppers.
The other six inch was whole wheat bun, toasted, shredded Monterey cheddar, pickles, green peppers, onions, lettuce, Mayo salt n pepper. However, instead of shredded Monterey cheddar I got processed cheese.
When contacted support a guy named Akhil was chatting with me and kept insisting I ordered it like that n the orders were correct. As much as I explained it was not correct. I even sent them the confirmation photo or the order placed. He kept saying I ordered them like that which is why it was like that I have no idea what he was looking at because he was not understanding! He then refused to refund and ended the chat saying it was going no where.
He was rude and did not understand or take a minute to understand how I was unsatisfied with my order. Just refused to refund my money although I told him those sandwiches were wasted due to the incorrect items. He refused to accept and ended the chat. Very useless!
No point in asking for reviews or feedback when they refuse to listen.

App has a flaw and add previously used address... addresses that had been erased.
They add them back. No refunds,
Has happened three times even after erasing address on the app.

Trying Uber eats now
Ordered food around 2 am in the morning. Courier said food was delivered. So I checked the front door and food was not there. Maybe he misplaced it? So I checked the neighbor front doors. Not there either.
This has happened so many times to me. I will never ever use this app again and I would not recommend anyone else to either. I believe that UberEats and DoorDash are better than this piece of joke on Skipthedishes. Never ever again will i be using this anymore.
Do not use skip the dishes they are a rip off. I don't know how they stay in business. I just ordered something they said it was delivered when it wasn't instead of giving me a refund they gave skip the dishes points or some stupid $#*! like that. I will never ever use skip the dishes again.
Extremely poor service. I WAS WAITING FOR MY ORDER FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS... Online app showed the food has been picked up by the driver. But upon inquiry with the restaurant the food was not even picked up. Waited for almost 30 mins on the call to speak to a csr rep. No one picked up. Final result no food... escalation. And no refund!. Will never order again using Skip the Dishes. I would rename the company as skip the company.
Total BS, ordered sushi in Winnipeg from our hotel on our wedding night, went downstairs and froze waiting to get order, grabbed it and came back to room only to find it was someone else's order, tried to call skip the dishes and was on hold for 45 minutes(never was able to talk to anyone while on hold), tried to reorder on skip dishes app but skip the dishes site said the restaurant was closed? This was at 5 pm, called restaurant from another phone and they told us that they were open until 11pm? Then the restaurant somehow got skip the dishes to call us on the other phone we had with us, we basically recorded and now 3 hours later still waiting for food! Skip dishes employee asked if I wanted a gift certificate instead of being refunded, told her that I'll never use this garbage service again! Point of the bad review, use another delivery service! Period!
Delivery didn't bother to ring the door bell. 2 minutes in snow and -20 C. Reheated food.
Terrible service considering we ordered warm food and not Ice Cream. Called Skip the dishes, 2 minutes wait time turned into 15. Shame on you

I recently placed an order on skip the dishes, the order was never delivered, I used the apps "missing items" function but never got any feedback. When I contacted skip the dishes support (a guy called Gurinder K) they told me I didn't report the event on time and therefore there was nothing they could do. However, I reported it the same night it happened. They stole my $60. Don't ever order anything on this app!
The order never came and the excuse was the driver was still at the restaurant. I recieved nothing but grief from the support guy until he finally relented and provided a refund
I've had many problems over the years. Today was the last straw. They claimed that there was "suspicious" activity going on with my account, so they closed it. Meanwhile boarderline stealing my money. They gave me "skip credits" for an order I placed after it was canceled but right away deactivated my account. I have screenshots of both conversations I had with service, saying they could not help me. The first one closing our conversation not letting me finish what I was saying. The second disregarding my issues and finally sent a request to their manager. Never order through them, there drivers have also stolen my food before.
Worst service evvver! Most incompetent bozos on the planet, cant even get simple food orders properly! And where is this companys contact info when these problems happen? Anyhow not easily readily available, very convenient for them so they dont have angry customers contacting them directly everytime they screw up. Talking to technical is useless because all u have is some kid acroos the country who doesnt care and doesnt understand when you tell them you want to cancel your order and a refund! Will never ever use this app again, will boycott skip the dishes as much as possible and will continue to try getting ahold of the "head office" (if there even is one) to make sure my complaints go all the way to the owner if i have to, tell sandeep that when someone says cancel my order, it means cancel the order, this is not the last skip the dishes will hear from me, i will purposefully dedicate some time to get to the bottom of this!
