Ordered food for my son who is at U of A hospital in Edmonton. He had 2nd surgery today and hadn't been able to eat. Igave clear instructions for them to call him when they arrived at the main entrance at 112th st so he could get nurse from intensive care to come down to get it as he cannot walk. Driver didn't wait for nurse. Left food outside and drove away. They called him and I put in a complaint on chat. Nurses went down 3 times, last time went to emergency and guess driver showed up there shortly after complaints were made and left food there. Emergency is no where near main entrance. Food was cold. Milkshake was melted. Customer service only apologized. Did nothing to make it right. I have no faith in them at all. So disappointing. Won't use them again.
This site is just horrible, not only are they rude and say they won't refund you sometimes, they make you go out of your way to get your food while the closest place to us was only 1km away and they scheduled a 20 min drive to get the food WILL NEVER USE AGAIN BE WARE, IF I COULD RATE THIS O I WOULD.
Odered McDonald's for my kids, they didn't put happy meal and 6 nuggets gave me a chicken burger and they wouldn't reimburse me and I had to reorder so I got charged twice for delivery. $50 for a happy meal and 6 nuggets sound fair? Sooo pissed I'm a single Mom trying to treat my kids and they take so much money from me
Will never use this crap thing again... hungry! Spent 45 min trying to place an order, no matter what card I used payment wouldn't go through, I chat with their rep- check with your bank. BLEEP BLEEP EFFING BEEP!@ *I have no proof of purchase, because I couldn't purchase ANYTHING!
You're basically delivering food to customers for free and paying out of pocket. Used to get some orders for $15 and $20. Now it's your regular $6 and my rating is 100% as they tell you (lie to you) that if you maintain a high acceptance rate you get better and bigger orders with bigger tips. All BS to get you to do work for them. Funny thing customers pay high fees to get food delivered to their doorstep and the delivery guy sees nothing but $6. When you reach out to customer support (cusotmer waste of time) they throw at you automated messages like "move to a hotspot" or "currently your area is not very busy" or "the system assigns orders automatically" or sorry for the inconvenience and the list of excuses goes on. Stay away. I would have given negative -5 had it allowed me. See attached deliveries. 3 shifts at 4hrs per shift. $40 to $50 in earnings then you pay them on gas. I stopped this gig. Pure exploitation by monster companies. Funny how this company operates in Canada and is still open. Ministry of labor should shut it down.
The order picked up feature is great. You know when it has left the restaurant to be delivered. What should have been a 5 minute delivery took 55minutes and chatting with their help desk for 30 minutes of that. Their standard response was 'oh sorry. We will have to review that later'. The once the food was delivered 55 minutes after it was picked up and of course, not edible anymore, they offered a 50% pice reduction. Seriously, you want me to pay 50% of the price of food that is 100% not edible anymore? Their response was, 'oh sorry. That's our policy. We can't do any better than that'. This was the standard answer from 3 different customer service people - an all of them ended the chat without any notice. Do youself a favour and skip, Skip The Dishes.

I ordered 3 large pizzas to be delivered to my daughters school (she's a teacher) for her birthday. Skip the dishes driver was overheard saying "I don't wanna drive to Norwood" and guess what? They didn' t deliver them to the right address and won't tell me where they were delivered to. How can you miss the only highschool in a small town? Tried to call but no phone # to talk to anyone all you can do is on-line chat. I was chatting with 2 guys with East Indian names. They were rude-dismissive and even caught in a lie to me. Oh ya they offered $20.99 as a refund but when I pay $53.73 that's not good enough and they actually hung up the chat with me. Pretty sure this is a theft!
Don't give them your business because you'll only be paying crooks
My daughter experienced them driving by her house (she was following them on GPS) the driver then turned off their GPS and never delivered the pizzas.

On the evening of Feb. 21st, I ordered what I thought was a very basic fried rice and hard to mess up. Hard to screw up right? Wrong. It was awful. Charged $14.95 for rice, a few peas and raw carrot. Delivery and tip brought it to $22.95. I contacted Skip the Dish customer service and got the royal run around. Would only credit me $7.95, citing problems because of Covid, AND get this, they had to protect their corporate relationship with restaurants. I then reviewed the restaurant, and many negative reviews going back to 2014! No Covid then. I also pointed out to them that they had a responsibility to customers. I called the restaurant, Broadway Chinese Food, Vancouver, BC. The woman was EXTREMELY rude, said they"d be in business 30 years and it was my problem! I did email Skip The Dishes with full details but no reply. All things considered, if they were an ethical company, they should give me a full refund. They are a big part of the problem and will NEVER use them again. This restaurant has been getting away with this for years and Skip The Dishes is complicit.

Food rarely gets delivered. And if it does it's cold, not delivered in insulated bags as advertised. Drivers are rude and tend to throw the items. Complaints to skip get ignored and say it's been rectified. Horrible horrible. Waste of money and time
This app is absolute dog $#*!, dont even bother. Anytime I try to order, it's always one or one and a half hour late. Every. Single. Time. I. $#*!ing. Ordered. Dont bother please you are wasting your time and precious money on something that does not even work.
I ordered from a restaraunt, 1 km from my house. Tracking the driver, I saw that he drove 10 blocks in the opposite direction of my house. It takes literally, about 3 minutes to drive from the restaraunt to my house, the only reason I ordered from there instead of picking it up is my wife is really sick. Finally, 25 minutes later, the guy shows up, I ask him why he went so far out of the way, he said he needed gas for his car. There is literally 2 gas stations in the same parking lot to where he was, so I pretty much told him to go f**k himself. Food was ice cold. When I complained, after arguing with them for 30 minutes, they refunded me $9 of my $30 order. Will NEVER use this piece of garbage company ever again.
I've used skip for a very long time, and honestly have had many issues with my order, but typically it's so minor that I never bother to follow up. Today, I placed an order as I would not be home to make dinner, they delivered a completely different order and I got nothing that I ordered. I contacted skip as this was supposed to feed my family at home and the order I received was wrong and not even close to enough to feed my family. I was told by skip that I have requested too many refunds in the past (I have never requested a refund) I wasn't even requesting a refund, I wanted MY order delivered. Before I could respond they abruptly ended the chat. I tried to contact them again and a representative logged on and logged ended the chat right away. Thankfully, I was able to contact the restaurant who happily corrected the mistake, despite the fact that it was the delivery person's error. This is very poor customer service and if you make a mistake you should own up to it.
Our food did not show up and after many chats they just stopped responding. If there is a screw up at least make up for it. Not responding is incredibly frustrating.
I had made an order and it was going to the wrong address, I had tried to message them about it but they said they could not do anything to help me, so now I'm out $50 with no food!
I have been a customer of Skip for about a year and in the last two months they have not only screwed up my orders but refused to refund me for items that I didn't even receive! I have emailed them several times and never gotten a reply. These people do not care about their quality of service or customer care. They only want your money and too bad for you if you didn't get what you ordered or if your food was cold, spilled everywhere or didn't even show up at your residence! NEVER ORDERING from them again. Especially after they repeated end chat with you when you are trying to get your refund back! Poor Service and ignorant customer service reps!
Wouldn't recommend! My driver drove around for almost a hour after picking up my order and when it showed up it was ice cold and not worth eating or paying almost $50 for... ask for a refund they said I would get a full refund and that a confirmation email was sent to me... 2 days later no email. I msg skip and now they will only do 50% refund... absolutely criminal
Something is always wrong with the order and the company doesn't care. Such a rip off. Service is not polite. Clearly this company only cares about making money n not about the customers
