I really like Skillshare. It's easy to use, the teachers are engaging and classes are great and very well planned. You can find almost anything you want to learn there! Really changed the way I study. They also have an APP so you can download the classes and learn anywhere.
The content Skillshare has is above and beyond most learning sites that I belong to and the teachers are of the highest caliber. I have taken a few classes from most of the names I know and follow on the web and they have phenomenal content of the highest quality.
I have been using Skillshare for about a year and have found it a valuable resource. The courses often have high production quality and many come with exercise files and projects to get real practice. I've used some courses to get up to speed quickly on creative software. Other courses I've taken just to explore a new technique or media.
The curated workshops are deeper dives into a particular subject and come with their own projects and deadlines. It takes some organization and discipline to keep on top of the assignments, but it is rewarding to share your work with your fellow workshop students in the gallery.
I truly feel like this was one of the best investments in myself as a continual learner. I love the variety of classes for just about anything I want to learn without being confined to just one area of study. It's an amazing resource and I have had positive things to say about every teacher I've learned from, most recently digital drawing. The information has been usable and valuable.
I have been taking classes on Skillshare for over a year now and I love it. The teachers are very supportive and engaging, and you can find a class on almost any topic you're interested in learning. As someone with a very limited amount of time to watch classes, I like that I can watch a lesson a day (depending on the class, sometimes more) and I can pause and come back or if it's something more complicated I can come back and do the same lesson to practice a few times. I absolutely love Skillshare and highly recommend it!
I've learned a lot so far and also got inspired by others. Huge variety of classes, excellent teachers, very good price point, supportive community, learn on your own timeline.
Skillshare is the best place to learn almost everything in illustration (and much more). The teachers are great, the tutorials fantastic, I'm really enjoying every second I spend on the site, I'm learning so much, thank you all!
I truly would, and have, recommended Skillshare to people. There are excellent instructors and supportive community. As an older learner who is coming back to art in a new technology driven world, the classes have been so helpful. Most of all, I can see progress in my work. Thank you, Skillshare!
The positives weigh out the negatives with Skillshare and this is due to the fact there is so much content and the short course's to do. All the tutorials are engaging and give you something to do and challenge also re-discover skills you may fight you had lost over the years.
Why Skillshare?
I'll tell you why.
I'm a beginner digital artist. I bought my drawing tab, downloaded software to create my creations and then...
I was stuck.
How does one do backgrounds? Which colors should I use? How do I create something amazing?

I recommend everyone to go and try it.
Learning something new has never been this easy.
The classes are made by real professionals in a very actionnable way. I couldn't have start as a pattern designer without it!
My only reserve will be for a friend who doesn't speak English.
Honestly I have found this service very useful and informative. Classes are content-rich, teachers diverse and experienced. The interface is also user friendly and easy to handle.
Great resource with hundreds of useful classes on all sorts of topics. The lessons are very clear, useful and have feedback from the teachers. Highly recommend!
People, do not pay them for a Premium account! Because if you decide to cancel it they'll still charge you. My friend had such situation and couldn't get her money back!
Everyone, be careful because Skillshare is STEALING money! After I CANCELED my Premium Membership they still charged me for a few months without my knowledge, illegally using my credit card information, and THEY REFUSE to give me back my money because they say that Premium Memberships are non-refundable! I have all the confirmations and all the e-mails, I would be happy to share them with you. DO NOT REGISTER FOR A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP AND DO NOT GIVE SKILLSHARE YOUR VREDIT CARD INFORMATION!
It is really unbelievable what they are doing and they should pay for it. They ahould rot in prison for that!
*******@skillshare I have contacted you for a refund re an unauthorized charge. Apparently, you charged my bank account even if I have canceled my subscription and you unknowingly charged me. THIS IS JUST SO HORRIFYING (when I need to pay bills)..
I noticed around the end of last year that I had been charged by Skillshare for a membership. I messaged them explaining that I do not have such an account and cant access the website. The man i spoke to confirmed that I do not have an account and I should not be charged any longer.
I just checked my account again and I am STILL BEING CHARGED. I sent an email explaining the issue ONCE AGAIN, and have not heard back from them.
This company has a POOR costumer service, low grade employees and has no respect for their costumers (Im not even there by choice).
DO NOT sign up for this terrible website.
When I signed up for the free membership I was of course trying it out with the 2 months, I signed up and received a date that I would be charged on, great, planning money whoo. I have been billed 6 days early, and it is taken my account down to near empty because they charged me early. They do not have a customer service number, just an email refund request that can take up to 3 business days to just contact me, so I am stuck in the $#*!ter for several days because they charged me early. I am fully canceling, I didn't hate their product, just the billing factor, I actually enjoyed the website but will no longer be willing to use it because of this MAJOR issue.
