I love the Simple Kneads sour dough bread. I did have an issue receiving my bread - Fed Ex insisted that my address was incorrect and it took a while to sort this out so I received my bread late. I had to contact Fed Ex several times and finally spoke to someone who helped me and included a note to driver that address is correct and to redeliver. The bread sat at Fed Ex for a while, but it was still fine when I received it.
Very heavy bread. I don't really care for the taste.
I ordered the variety pack of breads. Since I am the only one eating them, i put them all into the freezer and am using them from there to make myself toast. So yummy! Thank you!
The bread is very bland - all three kinds. I toasted but not a lot of help.
The bread is good tasting - I enjoyed the Quinoa power grains. I was disappointed that the loaves your get are less than half a normal loaf of bread and over $10 a loaf. I expected full loaves at that price. I get roughly 4 sandwiches per loaf.
Easy and quick. Ordered at the holidays and it still showed up in a timely manner. Very good quality bread! Definitely recommend if your search for a good GF bread has fallen short.
The delivery was quick and packaged well. I didn't love the bread but honestly gluten free bread is never amazing. I was hoping from other reviews that this would be better but not the case. The loaves were very small and would not work for a whole GF family but more just for an individual. I didn't find it worth the price point.
First shipment was lost en route somehow but *******@SK contacted me and followed up with a replacement order immediately without me having to reach out to them so they clearly track their shipments diligently!
Regarding the bread, toasting two or even three times works the best for me. The cinnamon bread is my overwhelming favorite since I had not had cinnamon toast since my diagnosis almost 3 years ago and I consider it a "comfort food" with substantially more fiber than the non gluten free brands I used to purchase. Kind of a win/win! 👍
Unfortunately, I ordered four loaves of bread December 16 during the holidays. The two day delivery didn't arrive until Dec 29. The bread is good so in the future I would try to find a local market that sells it.
I know its not your fault but the bread is dry and crumbly. Not much taste. Guess Im just so used to refular bread (Dave's Sprouted bread) that it would take some getting used to be able to switch over to this gf bread. The quinoa tastes better than the sourdough. Sorry!
Simplistic ordering online. Delivery always on time. The bread, brilliant!
I heard about this company through Barbara O'Neill and thought I'd give it a try because everyone raves about sourdough. I found out I am just not a fan. Maybe it taste good to other people but to me not so much.
I've tried A LOT of gluten-free breads since my diagnosis and this one is hands down the best. Added plus that there are no gums or strange ingredients.
I ordered the verity 4 pack. The bread arrived and looked good but when I opened the package the bread was overly moist almost like they were not fully baked. It doesn't toast well due to the high moisture. The taste and smell is extremely sour and off putting. Our family has tried it a couple different times even though our first experience was not the best but we wanted to give this bread an honest chance. Unfortunately our opinion did not change.
I had placed an order and selected express shipping. The system didn't recognize that I had selected that option, but they fixed the issue and were very quick in getting me my order.
I got my sampler pack from Simple Kneads about a week ago. I am sad to say I was and am disappointed. The bread is very heavy. It is also very difficult to toast. It takes 3 rounds in my toaster, and I can't eat it without toasting it. The bread un toasted tastes raw somehow.
Believe me, I wanted to love this bread. I was excited When I ordered it, and couldnt wait for it to be delivered.
So, my advice is to save your money. This bread is NOT worth the pricetag.

Could not even stand the smell of the bread, let alone the taste.
Answer: Sure. I bought 4 breads and keep them in the freezer.
