They make it easy to sign up for a free trial then do not inform you when you are being charged. They will not offer you a refund if not using your account but forgot to sign up, which is standard practice for similar platforms. Do not sign up!
We receive Showtime Anytime through our cable provider, for which we pay $200/month for all services. We were watching one of the only decent shows titled American Rust. We were 6 episodes into a 9 episode series. Tuned in for Episode 7 and...voila...the show had been removed from the platform with no warning. We had to buy the next three shows at $3.00 each on Amazon Prime. Showtime should be ashamed for treating its customers this way.
After I sign in to watch a show, I have to repeat my sign in as I watch the show, which is very irritated and makes it hard to enjoy having Showtime Anytime.
So, I cancelled it.
This service of Showtime is crappy. Every few days I have to go through process of reactivating. It seems like they do not trust their customers.
OH wow! A showtime version of HBO Go! Finally, a reason to actually get showtime. What's that you say? It's unstable and doesn't work with Chrome cast? Ah...
