Absolutely horrendous experience.
I ordered a couple of items from the site that said they where IN STOCK, only to be told they would'nt arrive until Autumn, 8 MONTHS LATER!
A day later they had an Easter discount on said items, so I emailed to asked if the the discount could be applied, being as I'd only ordered a day after the discount period, and due to a VERY LONG WAIT! For IN STOCK ITEMS!
Was told quite bluntly by James NO!
So i cancelled my order, and i would most definitely would NOT recommend to anyone.
Shabby store is a very apt name for very shabby service.
They also try to deny the negative reviews as being fake so clearly in denial and arrogant too!
All the best, onward and upward as they say.
So happy with my chair, the chair looks so much better than on the picture.

Oh my good gosh. For the first time in my thirty something years I feel compelled to write a review. I have had such an awful time with this company.
Don't get me wrong the people are polite on the phone but sadly come into the nice but useless category.
I ordered an item for my sisters birthday at the beginning of September. On the website it stated 8-10days for delivery. Two weeks later it still hadn't arrived so I contacted the store who advised it had been delayed (nice of them to mention) and may take another fortnight (too late for my sisters birthday but she's my sister she'll understand). After another two weeks still no delivery so I contacted again. Maybe the beginning of December? They said so I waited but still no item. Next they say maybe in January?... Now I'm stupid but not that stupid so I say No on the 5th of December I want a refund... well 1month later there is no refund so I email ShabbyStore, twice, who do not respond and now today 9 Jan I call them on my first day off work in ages just be told that I have been refunded. (like I didn't check my account first!). I most certainly have not had a refund. Apparently the man at the store is going to find the transaction number so that I can spend the rest of my only day off in ages running around after this awful company.
It's up to you. But don't say I didn't warn ya!

I purchased quite a number of items from shabby store, what absolutely wonderful furniture. The service was good and offered me discount on my order when placed on the phone.
I was also rewarded by having discount on my second and third order.

Answer: They were a legitimate company but now they've knowingly taken peoples money and not sent the goods. So I would avoid at all costs
Answer: They've ignored most of my emails. You cannot contact them by phone and I think they've gone into receivership

Ben made an order with us for 3 items in total, 2 gold canisters and a gold buddha head. The canisters where a seasonal item and they were unfortunately not going to arrive back into stock until Autumn. The Budha head was in stock in our main warehouse and we would be receiving it at the beginning of next week. For this we apologies and occasionally items do become out of stock.

There is nowhere on our site that actually tells you if the item is in stock. We have so many items on our site that our sales team deal with every item upon receipt of order. If an item is out of stock, discontinued or has a longer that usual lead time we will notify our customer. On our delivery and returns tab we explain that some items have a longer than usual lead time. This can be viewed on the tabs section on every listing.

We offer discounts to customers on a regular basis. Discounts can vary from time to time to push certain products, seasons or styles. If we offered yesterdays or tomorrows discounts to every order we would just have a fixed price discount constantly. For this there is no reward for returning customers or new customers, so the codes are only valid between the set days and times. We also do this so that we can keep track exactly what responses we got from certain codes at certain times.

After hearing the phone call the response was" No I'm sorry we can't" Conversation continued... The though of a blunt NO is very alarming for us hence why we checked the call log.

We are sorry to have to refund you and cancel your order, this was done instantly and an email notification was sent via email.
